Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Here is a Rough timelapse of the steps we ( my dad and I ) undertook to convert a Renault master L2H2 into a Campervan. It does skip over certain parts of the build plus it doesnt go in depth on how certain stuff was done but if any of it interest you youre more then welcome to check out the van conversion series or to check out the full van tour where I go a bit more in depth.

    Thank you. Yeah my dad was a big help even when not helping with lifting or cutting or rough stuff like that he was still a huge source of knowledge that I could pick every now and then. Hardly had to Google woodwork stuff

    the soap ( and otherwise spit ) is a great way to mold the sealing without it sticking to your fingers or tools. both have something in them that basically does that. so for small sealings just spit on your finger and for bigger projects i recommend getting a cheap kids soap

    All very nice. I would put all your gear in it and head for a weigh bridge. So many of these are over weight.

    with out my gear in it the van is about 2,5 ton. im allowed to drive up to 3,5 so unless i gain alot of weight i think i should be in the clear haha

    The side panel insulation is a typical choice. The R value of bubble foil is nihil. It's more for reflecting heat from radiator. Looks nice for the finish.

  • @murfmontane4786

    @murfmontane4786

    Жыл бұрын

    this type of insulation had a slightly higher R value then arma flex it was just a pain to work with but it safed my quite alot of money. think i read somewhere that arma flex has 0.7R value and this had 1.2. but that what the package said haha ive done a few trips in november and february in the ardenne forest it is doeble but i am planning on getting a diesel heater

    @@murfmontane4786 are you sure? I've seen Greg Virgoe do a video were it was just good enough as vapour barrier. The R value on the reflecting bubble foam is giving as when both sides have an air gap of minimum 20mm. So the contact to the steel panels is reducing this a lot. Not to bust your idea here. Just trying to figure it out, whether it's a good idea to adapt.

    I'm definitely not sure haha just a quick Google on what the package said Vs what Google said over arma flex. It does say on the packaging that it often used in caravans

    Not all bubble foil is created equal. Few years ago I had to make a prototype ice-cream car/cycle. After a lot of research and expert advice I ended up with a aluminium bubble foil as the best insulator. Better than PIR plates. Expensive for a van though.

    Hoi Marvin, ben zelf ook net begonnen aan een Master camper ombouw. Mag ik vragen wat voor isolatiemateriaal je tussen de planken onder de vloer gebruikt? En heb je enkel of dubbelzijdig gebruikt voor de muren? Mvg, Siebe

  • @murfmontane4786

    @murfmontane4786

    Als isolatiemateriaal voor m’n vloer heb ik alleen piepschuimen stukken gebruikt (en heb nu een lekker kleedje erin liggen) en voor m’n muren heb ik een soort isolatie noppenfolie gebruikt. Heeft een goede isolatie waarden, naar mijn mening is het net zo goed als veel duurdere producten, alleen was het een flinke klus om het op de muur te krijgen. Ik had het alleen aan m’n bus vast gelijmd niet aan het hout wat tegen de muren ging. Ik heb eventueel aparte video’s op m’n kanaal die meer de diepte in gaan over bepaalde bouw processen.
