Every body in the comments saying what a waste they were probably going to end up in the landfill. At least he is recycling. It is what it is lease stop being buried in the ground, being reuse and recycle doing your thing.

did you test these before scraping the some vacuums can be donated to thrift stores if they work

I found a permanent magnet dc motor from old vacuum cleaner.

i can see doing that if they are actually broken beyond value but I'm Shure a majority of those can be fixed and donated.
