TIMELAPSE PROCESS 24 - Maenda Nymph Queen

Ойын-сауық

This character was made for Roll for Combat, and corresponds to a kind of queen of forest nymphs, who have greenish skin with red wine-colored veins. This queen personifies celebrations, and is characterized by having amphorae full of wine on her belt. She is happy and festive.

I couldn’t imagine using so many layers for rendering, I feel like that would crash my iPad Pro. Great job, wish rendering was as easy as you made it look.

😂😂 thanks! I understand you perfectly. The truth is that I don't always do the final rendering with so many layers, the normal thing is that when I finish the base color and the base lighting, I merge all the layers to work on the final rendering. But yes, I got used to separating everything well when working, I guess it gives me more confidente un My work

This is very cool, I like your art and I subscribed. If I could give just one criticism without seeming rude, it would be that the supporting leg being hidden in conjunction with some of the drapery on her left side makes my brain jump to the idea that she's kneeling. Clearly she's not kneeling when taking the who image in, but it could read more clearly I think. Anyways, sorry if that' not something you care to hear, and I do love the design and seeing your process!

Thank You so much! And I really appreciate the feedback, it is always well received when it is done with respect as you do. In fact, it's something I hadn't noticed and you're right, it looks strange like that. For next time I will keep it in mind! 😁

Thanks! I couldn't say how long it takes me to do a single pose, but normally, I spend between 2 and 3 hours sketching, sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less depending on the complexity, but on average I would say it takes about 3 hours from the beginning until before starting the lineart.
