They’re mounted to poles that are part of the car mount. (The car isn’t floating on its own in space, it’s mounted on the top of another rocket.) You can't see the really obvious camera mounts? The left side camera is clearly visible every front-view shot, and the front camera mount is seen from the inside-view.

The moon is thirty earth diameters away. In other words, if the earth is a one foot diameter desk globe, the moon will be a ball slightly over three inches in diameter thirty feet away from it. The simple answer is that the moon is outside the plane of the camera's rotation.

It’s because StarMan and the car are spinning. It would be like if you decided to walk around a building, but you were spinning while doing it. A camera attached to you would make it look like the building is spinning around you, even though it’s the other way around.

The earth's equatorial radius is just 0.33% more than its polar radius. It's oblate, but not enough that you can see it with the naked eye.

Where are the satellite's?

Its virtually impossible to see one satellite from another - they are 100s of miles apart. Can you see a car a few hundred miles away?

The link is quite cool. However its misleading, The size of the satellites relative to earth is millions of times bigger than they actually are. If you see the scale the earth (and countries like India) relative to the satellites, its clear that the satellites are hundreds of miles apart from each other. Even if they are just 10's of miles from each other they would still be too small to be easily seen from a neighboring satellite. And even if they were visible, on the camera settings, they would be too dim to see, just as the stars are too dim to see at this cammera setting. Have you ever tried to take a picture of the stars? Its very difficult, and if you also have a brightly lit object in the photo its virtually impossible to see stars as well as the brightly lit object.

Them images where from 10 years ago with nasa and Google.. A lot more in space now the biggest weighs nearly 3.2Ton... aswell well as the space station which can be seen from earth.. let alone the space junk.. yet the car is unscathed thru all that? That dummy need to get a lottery ticket !

Robert Martinez..;.. the earth rotation speed = 1'663 km/hr or 462 m/s.. you can see the moon come into frame at 50 sec moving from left to right to 54 sec... if you pause you will see the sun casting an arc on the moons spherical surface..

Keep in mind the trajectory of the Tesla is going in roughly the same direction as the Earth's rotation, and it's altitude here looks like it's somewhere in MEO so the Earth should appear to spin much more slowly at this altitude. Also pretty sure that's Australia.
