Thank you so much! and sure! It's quite easy: you need to select the area you painted the shading (in photoshop it's control+clic on the layer, it selects all the pixels you painted on this layer), then you inverse the selection and fill that with your highlight color. Both the hightlight layer and the shading layer must be contained in the area of the "color block" of the character, so both should have a clipping mask. Then just add a light gaussian blur on the highlight layer and you're done! I hope that helps :) (ps: layer modes are "multiply" for the shading and "linear density -" for the highlights)

@@GothicPhantomZeroIt works on any program that has a layer system I believe! So it's possible to do on GIMP, Krita, or even Paint Tool Sai, even though this one doesn"t have a blur effet as far as I know so you might have to do this step by hand

@@Arankay Oh version 2 of SAI has blur. Hidden up in the Filter. I cannot wait to give it a try on SAI :D! Thank you so much! I have been wondering for years how artist get that glow. I didn't know it was that brilliant! Thank you!!!
