There seems to be some confusion in the comments about what is going on. In the first warriors arc, Shadowclan, under the rule of Brokenstar, drove Windclan out of their territory to justify their lack of food. Bluestar sent Fireheart and Graystripe to locate their whereabouts and bring them back home. The MAP focuses on them persuading Tallstar and his clan to go back to the forest. The last shot is Brokenstar (Now Brokentail) overlooking the clan in disgust.

Tallstar had never seen Fireheart before this, and it’s known that he looks like Jake. Tallstar probably thought that Jake had come back to to save him, only to realize that it was just a ThunderClan cat

It has been a bit since I read Tallstar's Revenge, but I recall the end of it having, in comic form, Tallstar's thoughts upon seeing Fireheart. Tallstar recognized Fireheart as Jake's son immediately, which I expect is a major reason he had a softer spot for Fireheart than the other cats. That is, assuming it wasn't all my vivid imagination creating a false memory. If I wasn't too lazy to do so, I'd fact check, but I'll leave that to anyone who cares enough.

I looove this! People rarely ever focus on the softer side of Warriors. It's all blood, death, edgey. This is just pure and nostalgic.

This is one of those maps that just gives me the biggest smile on my face. The animation and the acting on the characters is top notch, and there’s a lot of chilling imagery. The last shot with Brokenstar gives me goosebumbs honestly, it’s amazing.

@@bj.025 would make sense, both seem to have a carefree demeanor, can seem to do things a bit dangerously, but both are loyal to their friends and would do whatever to save them if in trouble. Both learn their mistakes and overall, both are pretty kind.

I watched this again after reading The Darkest Hour and let me say this... *Spoiler warning* WHY GORSEPAW, WHY?! I felt so bad when he got killed and now that I'm seeing him so careless and happy it just hurts my soul, I really had a soft spot for this little kitty ;~;

I absolutely love how this map turned out. The animation in all of the parts give the characters so much personality and help to build their relationships so they are even closer. It is so nice to see a map that shows the characters as not only a clan but a big family. Amazing job to all those who helped contribute to this map!

This is probably hands down my favorite Warriors MAP I've ever seen, between the song choice, the arc choice, and the amazing character animation! In particular, everyone who had a Morningflower part absolutely KILLED IT with the ways they showed movement and emotion.

This M.A.P. was one of the best ones I’ve seen this year! I really like how M.A.P.s like this one uses songs first introduced in TV shows and/or movies to illustrate these important events in Warrior Cat History. I don’t like it how a lot of these songs are under-appreciated and misjudged because they originate in “kid-stuff”. But these M.A.P.s have really been giving them a chance in the spotlight, and showing the world their true potential and artistic value.

1:36 is probably my favorite part(though every part was phenomenal), it was very fluid and the perspective was neat ^-^

Honestly, Fireheart has an amazing heart and love for all the Clans, without showing disloyalty to Thunderclan. He broke the warrior code many times to help another Clan, and I love that. His warrior name suits him well.

this was SO lovely!!! it's so rare to have warriors content that is just purely joyful and wholesome and fun, and this really captures that feeling of reading the books for the first time, and of the simplicity of the first arc. the animation is so gorgeous and heartwarming and intricate - the windclan cats playing with their reflections in the water? morningflower's voice? tallstar looking worriedly at gorsepaw in front of the thunderpath, the way his eyes search him, before he smiles and feels hopeful? the amount of emotion and happiness is just so amazing!!!! i love this so much, the fandom needs more sweet MAPs like this

Reasons why this is an amazing map. 1. It's super rare to see first series maps, and I feel like I'm reading the first series for the first time again! 2. Time to be awesome is a really amazing songs? The instrumentals and vocals are amazing and it gives off such a good vibe. 3. It isn't blood at gorey and brings alot of nostalgia! 4. All the animators are amazing and together it makes an amazing map!

Well, remember that they were made warriors early. If you make note of how much time passes in Into the Wild, they were only training for a little over two moons, so they really are only apprentice age/size at this point.
