    yes having ふん & ぷん may look ridiculous and all but there is a little of a pattern here all ten-tenable kana replace the 2nd syllable of 一 & 十 with a ちさいつ then add the counter in this case ふん and change ふ into ぷ because it can take a まる

    I have come across other channels that say 4 minutes is expressed as "pun" and not "hun" . Google also says the same. Kindly help to clarify

    Hi, your video is really great! But I'm struggling with pitch accent in Japanese. I can't tell, when you say じゅうじ, is the pitch high-low-low(頭高) or low-high-low(中高)?

    Can you make the romaji letters become small or transparent next time so my mind can get used to on automatically reading hiragana or katakana letters, it's not like romaji will be everywhere and thank you for creating this video so i will subscribe your channel

    04 minutes can be either ふん or ぷん right?cause I have seen it as ぷん also.

    Good question, my book says 4ぷん and today I have a test. I guess I'll follow the book 😅 but still this is a nice video and helped me a lot.

    Haaaai! Both are correct ☺️🙌 My mom uses HUN. My sister uses PUN. My friend from Kyoto uses HUN. My friend from Tokyo uses PUN. My friend from Fukuoka uses PUN…. I’ve been asking my friends and trying to find a logic but seems like just both ways are correct😌🙌hehe

    I had same question. Have seen it both ways. Too bad they did not answer your question. Has something to do with how you pronounce the n next to the p....san or sam.

    @@H.pylori Hiragana doesn't have "hu" sound although the alphabet has a representation for it and it sounds like a midway between "hu" and "fu" which is ふ I hope this helps

    You can say 4pun, too! For 4min , some people say 4hun and some ppl say 4pun. I think I personally use 4pun but my mom uses 4hun. My friend in Kyoto says 4hun. And my friend in Yokohama says 4hun. My friend in Fukuoka says 4pun… I keep asking my friends which one they use and trying to find the rules but seems like it is just depends on the person ☺️ Language is always like that 🥰heheh
