This song is oddly beautiful, he really put a lot of soul into this and you can absolutely tell. Even though he died over 20 years again he won't ever be forgotten anytime soon... Art is immortal, and anyone can find success at any point in their life if they take their time.

Art is immortal and the most beautiful thing about it is when future generations find out about it. We might not be able to thank the original creators for a piece but I think from then to now they can appreciate another person respects what they made. The human condition is teaching and passing on, even if they didn't think it then, they passed on to now and that's how we honor them.

I remember Scatman's music mostly from good old SM64 videos, but properly listening to them now they are just wonderful. This is probably my favorite of all his song's so far. All of his musics have this magical feel, it takes me back to simpler times. Not sure if that makes sense but that's what i think XD Its sad to know he died young... May he rest in peace.

RIP Scatman John (13 March , 1942) John Paul Larkin, better known as Scatman John, was a jazz musician who created a unique fusion of scat singing and techno, best known for his 1994 hit "Scatman." This was his first studio album. His last album recorded had the name "Take Your Time", no brackets or secondary titles, and is a wholly different album and the title track is a very different song. After his death, there were at least two more releases. One was a jazz compilation, the other was a best-of with a few unreleased tracks.

Whenever I feel down and I need something to cheer me up, this album is the first thing I think of. It just puts me into a mood of just pure happiness. It's definitely gotten me over some hard times, and I don't know what I would do without it. If John Larkin were still alive, meeting him would be on the very top of my bucket list, since he was such a big part of my life. Sadly, Cancer got to him first, and we lost someone with extreme talent. He will forever be remembered for his legacy and his impact on those who had stutters.
