Time Lapse Test - Miami, Florida - August 12, 2007

Testing the interval record feature on one of my video cameras. This clip was recorded over a four hour period on the afternoon of August 12, 2007, looking northeast over downtown Miami, Florida. I was using a .5 second exposure every 30 seconds.
It's interesting to note that two of the four construction cranes, visible in the shot, move significantly with the changing wind direction (no construction work was taking place)... the other two remain fixed.

Thanks Mike! This clip was taken over a four hour period from 2:20pm - 6:20pm, yesterday. The video camera itself actually created the basic time lapse, using the interval recording feature to take .5 second exposures every 30 seconds. I then used my video editing software (Sony Vegas) to speed it up even further.

I keep watching the model runs on Dean. A real game of whether this storm is gonna find a way to creep north my way, or head yours. Some of the models show Hispanola really getting hammered which would be a major disaster. Waiting to see what might happen is always hard...
