One video i would like to see is a video on color matching. Not many people know what colors compliment each other or how to mix them. I would very appreciate it. Great art work, excellent use in color :)

He uses acrylic paint for his canvases, and in order to blend the paint together he uses a little spray bottle water to get the right texture. He sprays the painting on the canavas first then he sprays the paint to get the "blended" look. he does this for the background and the the grass.

Thanks for responding. I've been using water in my paints for YEARS now, then it dawned on me that water is a solvent, used to CLEAN up acrylic and to break it down. So I wondered if mixing water with the acrylic would also break down the paint on the canvas, but I've been using water for years, why change it now? Haha!
@WhiteWings901 Just using a dry brush over wet paint. That helps blend everything into a hazy look.

In the rest of his videos he sprays water on the canvas, paper towels it to soak into the canvas and then as he is painting, he then sprays water onto the painted scene in order to blend. Same thing a medium does. Water acts as his medium basically. Nice trick to do without the mess and odor of oils! I assume he is using the same technique here. Awesome painting!

@MonicaReally Just water in a misting bottle. I agree, I think retarder causes too many changes in the paint.

hmmm...you seem to like darker color schemes, for the most part. also, all the old trees indicate you like age or a certain level of decay. i think you would really enjoy paintingsome of the images from the six flags in new orleans after katrina. theyre beautiful in an abandoned kind of way, especially the cool zone
