I love these boats. Located in Shippagan, NB, I always wanted to make a painting of them. Painting took me 13hrs.

I loved it even before you finished it.
Marc...I found you on KZread around the time you started putting your timelapse paintings on here. You are an amazing artist and I wanted you to know that you have been an inspiration for me to learn to paint. I wish you could do a tutorial on painting clouds. Your clouds and backgrounds are always beautiful. Thanks, Marc.
Such amazing detail great arist!
amazing painting!
Wow, that is amazing,.very inspirational
Very nice painting. The shadows and detail are definately there. :) Hope this ends up in a very nice place for many people to see! I don't do physical mediums anymore, and sometimes I do miss it, but I'm doing good with digital for now.
Your paintings tend to take a very natural look, as though you subconsciously lift the paintbrush to glance off the canvas at the exact right moments. Very good pressure control. I love how your paintings often tell a story that the viewer can direct as he or she feels. My story felt that these boats were not from the same place, but rather, many different places. Each boat was painted a separate color and I felt as though they were vessels from different nations, coming together to work as on
Gosh!!! Ur panting really inspired me for my video... You r really amazing

creo que es el momento de mostrar esos cuadros asi las personas ven tu obra y tratan de pintar algo.
WOW
I don't know how you make the masts so straight.
DAMN YOU CAN paint =)
Hi, I am a beginner acrylic painter and I was wondering...how do you keep all your paints from drying??? All those blobs of paint..mine will dry in like 5 mins? What acrylic paint do you use? You're amazing!!

+ilovea4eva Same issue I initially had. Before you start painting, get a spray bottle and spray the fresh canvas so it is slightly damp (do not saturate). You will need a medium known as a "retarder" to put in your paints (it retains moisture). Also, another way to keep it moist is to also soak your brushes in water for a few hours (then dry so it becomes slightly damp). Also, good quality art paints (like Golden or Dick Blick) are important (never go "cheap"). These are some points that will put you on the right track!

+ilovea4eva I work with Golden Open. The palette is a staywet palette, it has a foam under the paper.
Nice
What is that container that you put all of your paint in. I find that very interesting.

It looks like a wet-palet. Home-made or store bought...both about the same. A semi-deep tray with spongy material underneath parchment paper. Wet the spongy part, lay parchment paper over the top & than the paint will rest on the paper while slowly absorbing moisture. These r used to extend the workable time of acrylic paint. Thats my guess....oh, and if u include a lid that seals-u can store the paint to b re-used later.
now how we can get the boats to the water ?!
Each boat was painted a separate color and I felt as though they were vessels from different nations, coming together to work as one. If you don't mind my saying, I think you are better at nature paintings. Also, did the boats' numbers have any meaning to you or were they random?
Do you have a website where I could buy one of these paintings cause if so I'll pay up to like 600$ no joke my house is so empty on the walls and I want some real modern vibe or somethin cause I want this for my beach house.

just do clouds!
نحن لانستمتع بفنك لأنها سريعة التصوير فاشششششششششل
Bloody hell...
Okay everyone is saying how amazing this painting looks but it is obviously fake or extremely edited. I mean I don't understand how someone can finish a painting of that detail in 6 minutes? Not to mention the fact that his hands are moving at practically supersonic speeds, it just doesn't add up. Seems pretty fishy to me.
