Time lapse of NYC's first blizzard of 2016
Ғылым және технология
Superstorm Jonas almost broke the record yesterday for the largest New York snowstorm when it dropped 26.8 inches in Central Park. The all time record is 26.9 inches and was recorded in 2006.
However, the storm did break the record for most snow fall in one day and dropped more snow on the city in that day than the average for an entire winter, which is 25.1 inches. Here's what it looked like on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

Yes. I know you’re being coy- but I live in New York City that was our only snowfall that year. When I was a kid this place would get buffeted by frigid weather repeatedly. Nowadays I walk outside with a windbreaker in the dead of February and squirrels don’t hibernate anymore. Something is very wrong.
