They were actually developed in California but are said to be descended from a variety of herding breeds brought over to herd sheep imported alongside the breeds from Australia. The breed was not really known outside of the livestock industry until the mid-20th century when a rodeo performer named Jay Lister popularized them at his shows. It was officially recognized as a breed by the United Kennel Club in 1979, followed by the American Kennel Club in the 1990s.

The orange food stand by the claw machines is where I usually work at Ducan Consecution stand is where I work at, but I didn't work there at the fair because I live in Ohio and my boss is there working I usually work with them, but not this time I'll be with them this August when the Ohio State fair starts I cook all the fried food. So everyone should visit Duncan Consecution stands at the fair the food is great.
