The problem is in the structure of our democracy, we vote for leaders to lead us in return they make decisions we were never consulted about, there's a lack of transparency. We vote for a leader today and regret a year later when the presumed leader reveals their true colours. Instead of voting for people to make choices for us let's vote/fight for a system in which we vote for decisions/choices to be taken in the country and as Africa as a whole. We need a system which will place the government in a position of enforcing the law and decisions voted upon by citizens of Africa, give the everyday people the power to influence their lives and become the executive deciders of their politics instead of the people being caught up in the circumstance of one man's decisions. Power to the people, power to Africa. I vote for the Dinar.

How have I successfully been living in Africa and never heared about this man? It's only yesterday for the first time that I listened to his speech in front of an audience of military. This kind of message should be shared with all African people. I'm francophone and one thing I'll do is to translate all his speeches for all the francophone people just because I'm sure that very few francophones have heared of him in the past. Thank you soooo much dady. If you'd been there at the time when they decided to sell us as mangoes, I know this wouldn't have happened. KIGALI TODAY, thank you for sharing.

Marxcell1 whilst prayer and hope will not literally change things it will bring those who are woke in alignment with one another to collaborate, inspire and create new mind set, visions and change. And I speak of prayer in the sense of making requests with clarity in a heart felt manner, and hope (not in the sense of uncertainty) with a confirmation of the heart that that which is seen in the spirit will ultimately manifest in the physical it’s just a matter of time.

@Fasham7579..My brother your serously "praying" ? .... keep at it if that is all you do and 30 years later staying wondering what happen to you grand children. The sins of the past (if our parents) is that African were made complicit to the demise that bit them today. It is high time take we to action that yield conrete results relevant to our society of today and dividends to posterity. For those who have been to Rwanda Kegame is an unrepentant example of PLO admonitions. Beyond praying, what do you say about that?

@@comffycomfort2608 .... sorry PLO admonitions both explicit and implicit are drum beats for actions and beyond just inspirations. I fully understand the rents amidst us... PLO think and agre that we can do both. Truth be told that ...The eflect of the past, the mental slaveryness we Africans encummber is a relic we must move beyond today. We need then new leaders that not only set aside the blame game and put action change action that nourished and flourishes the society without always clinging the past. WE can and MUST move on variably as countries and as a continent. Today, we should ably and boldly confirm or discofirm our own actions/progress not wait for the "West" to do so for us as PLO implies.

This man is one of the greatest treasures of African , but I do recall in one of his speeches he said " those with ideas do not have power to implement them and those with power don't have ideas ," this is the practical issue in the hall of African states . How I wish African presidents and leaders can try to adopt his ideas for the betterment of the rest of Africa and eliminate the BIG DOG OF NEO-COLONIALISM

Would it surprise you if I were to suggest that the current leadership in the African continent does not like this man. His thinking and presentations are very critical of the crop of leadership. I am making a collection of his speeches and I intend to lobby schools in my locality to adopt them as part of human development studies. Every African Child needs this illuminating lectures.

PLO Lumumba is actually speaking intelligently about 'inside Africa' in a manner dat Keeps the listener well focused.A Diasporan black needs such a speaker to visit the Caribbean and other regions to lecture it's people on African and or Black issues ⏰ is precious and we need to de-colonialize our brain washed mentality dat was inherent throught our long Colonialized history.Freedom NoW.
