The best thing you can be is just be yourself nothing more nothing less. And it's not just about the content. People are drawn to certain people for whatever reason it is. Just like you said about the guy who made you watching basketball reaction videos very entertaining. I'm sure whatever you choose to do as long as you be yourself. Those people are going to ride with you. And the ones that don't. No big deal. See it as an opportunity to reach new people.

hey man just got here but i personally think you should do what you like, of course having viewersin mind but you gotta like it too. if u don't like what ur doing then the channel flops anyway so I think this is a good idea. That being said I was hoping through your channel and noticed you didn't have a video for NHL worst injuries, might need a bit of censoring for a vid but if you were ever going to bring back a hockey vid just for fun you should try the injury videos next. Anyway I look forward to watching whatever you create in the future! good luck man!

also i think as long as you have some react content (even if it has to do with your hooping idea) may keep viewers happy although I know you said views don't matter. Just wanted to give a thoughtful opinion from a friendly subscriber :) (doesn't mean any of this needs to be done just noticed that other KZreadrs can keep some old viewers by throwing in some old type of content here and there once in awhile. Content wise tho! it would be a cool vid to like challenge strangers at the hoops to a 1 on 1 game or something for a cash reward if they beat you (I've seen people even do $10 for someone winning a 1 on 1, idk again just another idea but this one kinda coincides with the future u wanna follow! probs will be my only comments cux I'm lazy but yeah :))

There are a hell of a lot of people who will love your content still, if you are happy with what you're doing, your numbers will jump three fold because you are then truly happy and your positive energy will spew through our screens. But doing what you love is more important.

First n Foremost wth, Matt you a NOV Birthday too wth man I'm NOV 14th anyways when i was about 6-8 years younger than you Basketball was my life too but around 14 or 15 i found my love of hockey and it just became my #1 Sport, Loved your reactions to Hockey and so glad to have you onboard with the Hurricanes!!!!! So glad you enjoyed the sport and glad you became a fan of it! Totally understand bro, that's why I stopped reacting to music cause I just didn't have the passion for it and plus most of them were getting copyright claims and one was actually blocked.....so now I'm just doing sports, old school basketball, rugby and Australia football.....and hopefully I can do more irl basketball content. Keep grinding and doing what you're passionate about bro!!

Sometimes that stuff happens but as long as we’re anchored to who we are, we’ll stay real with ourselves and keep our priorities straight 💯

You can only react to so many videos before it starts draining you.. Creators like Cashnasty/Marcelas post a lot of reaction videos but they also make their own hooping content on their main channels. Keep being you and one day you'll drop a 1v1 against cash 😈

I feel that bro, but at the same time, it's not worth risking my peace. If I don't enjoy what I do, then that will affect how I make my vids and the energy of them will be different. It's for the peace bro, not the views, not the money. For the peace. I made a good amount of money on here, and a lot of views but it's the passion that will keep me going, not the other way around.

I watch alot of reactors. They react to other people's content. It's not their own. I can always find a hockey reactor. It sounds like you're going to make your own content which is very interesting to me. You won't be a reactor, you'll be a content creator. I hope that's the way you're going. I'll be both, I'll be creating my own content but at the same time react to other hoopers in the community. Pretty much, everyone in the basketball community do this, everyone reacts to everyone's content and everyone's cool with it since it's more exposure, content, and money being made so it's a win/win for everyone. Also a way with interacting with the community as well, everyone knowing everyone
