Ha ha great shout Roger, you are absolutely right the bag was the first "bin" upgrade 😂👍🏼 Beer will be back soon, 2 weeks detox nearly completed so normally service will resume 🥰

We've also concluded that the Adventure 65 is pretty unbeatable - I do think the window in the loo is the best upgrade they could have thought of as it's our only real niggle with the one we have!

Good video and some great purchases made at the show. We also went to the show and fell in love with the Kaktus camper, saddly we only came away with a sticker🤣 on the van front it always comes down to layout for most people so if your happy with your set up no need to change, especially if what you have is still like new.

We love using the Van to visit relatives. My Dad had 3 spare rooms but we still use the Van to stay there 😂 gutted we weren’t at the latest show. I am determined that we are going to see you one day and I’m going to get my beer with Iain 😂

Hi Caroline and Iain, great video as was the last one from the NEC, really informative. We are looking forward to getting our new campervan soon (newbies) so we are getting some great advice from you and having a dog too it’s good to see how you use your campervan with Mollie. We looked at motor homes but even the small ones are quite big and you can go to so many other places and park with a campervan that you can’t sometimes in a motor home. Look forward to your travels this year and the good hints and tips. All the best Ken, Lee and Hamish (the birder terrier).

Good to hear that you’re keeping your van, not worth lining the pockets of the dealership. Best advice is to keep your engine oil regularly dropped, preferably every 5k if you can do this yourself it’s going to be cheaper. Only because of your mileage think you said 14k if you plan to cover more mileage over the year you could take it longer before oil change. Mainly condensation with fiat engine especially with being not heavily used, don’t no you’re back ground regarding changing oil but would be happy to help. Videos are informative especially the German holidays thinking of doing this next year only ever been there before fixing vehicles, but it’s amazing place. Keep your videos coming all the best 👍

I can see Iain getting the angle grinder out and cutting a hole in the washroom wall for a window, Truma heater is far superior to the Whale system so you dodged a bullet there. I often sleep in our van on the drive when I want some peace and quiet which is mad as we have several spare rooms😂😂 Cheers K.

Twice used firesticks to to put out under bonnet fires on other peoples rally cars. Much better than the 2.5kg ones we have to carry. Have one in the MoHo and one in my rally car.

Hi guys great video as usual I only found you recently and I love your enthusiasm :) our VW California is 5 years old this coming June and I am on the verge of leaving work due to a vile new boss also Linda lost both her parents and two close friends in this last 3 years and it really makes you think, we want to get out in the van with our young dog Basil so we ordered a new Westfalia Sven Hedin, we were told it would be due in July/August but no doubt it will be delayed. We wanted a slightly bigger van with a fixed bed, hot water and a bathroom so we have done it! Did I see the bow of an inflatable Kayak in your intro as we do fancy trying that if we can persuade Basil to enjoy it.

They make some fantastic vans, very well built so will take a look at your model 👍🏼 You make such a great point, looking after yourselves is so important and enjoying what you do 🥰 Yes good spot, we have a Sevlor Colorado inflatable kayak, it's great for carrying inside the van, Mollie hasn't been in it yet as she likes the water too much and would jump out 😂 it's great for exploring rivers and loch's, we just need more time for travelling 😁

Hello. I came away with similar feelings to yourselves; other than some refinements on other vans (quite like the additions to the Swift Carrera rear door area - fold down shelf and pockets), if we were going out today we'd buy the same van again. We have the Elddis CV40. I think it would be 15k extra now so hard to see the extra value.

Hello 👋🏼 We did look at the Wildax vans, they are really nice and quite unique in their layout and offering, they used to only really offer a Citroen van but have expanded their range to lots of different brands plus they are one of the few manufacturers who build a 5.4m van which is great if tight on space. Unfortunately we lost some audio footage from the show (pilot error) and it was part of the Wildax section we filmed, agree they are nice vans 👍🏼😊

I can see Ian is keen to upgrade to all terrain tyres rather than buy a new van, so just a little tip. Forget about trendy BF Goodrich A/T tyres which understandably are now priced at the ridiculous high end of things............,you're talking about £250 per tyre !!!!!!, just because they are the new 'must haves' for van conversions. I wanted A/T tyres because we rally a fair bit and have been stuck on wet fields far too often...........couldn't believe how inflated (no pun intended !) BFG prices were so looked for alternatives. Falken Wildpeak AT3's are at least half the price, they are better rated for noise, they a true 'all seasons three Peaks' rated tyre and in performance tests in the States did better than BFG's...........and in my humble opinion, they also look great. Check them out and make your own mind up 😉

@@VantasticAdventures I was there about 11AM Saturday morning for about 1hour 30 minutes it was to busy for me I couldn't afford a camper van or a residential mobile home but I could afford a recumberlent bike with power assist and luggage £8.000 chunky tyre's
