I love what Burks did for the Knicks after Game 3, a true pro. But acting like it was malpractice that Thibs didn't give him minutes at any point before then is total recency bias. He was objectively atrocious when he first arrived from Detroit, to the point that he was actively hurting them in games & so Thibs justifiably took him out of the rotation.

"If healthy who's REALLY the best team?" Please. The BEST teams are playing because health is part of how you finish a season. I Guess the Pacers were supposed to forfeit the series to help the Knicks out. Nobody was saying this in 2021. (Look up the playoffs injury report - almost every superstar was injured. Giannis' team won, so media was happy. They had their "star".)

Good luck to those young guys. WCF vs a great defense is a tough spot for a young, borderline rotation guy, to shine. I'm a wolves fan who keeps my projections sober (as pretty much all long time wolves do)-- this is about Luka and Kyrie and maybe two other guys elevating beyond what they did vs OKC. I am not saying that the Wolves win, Dallas is legit, but these wolves are a bit of an avalanche rolling down the mountain after figuring out Denver at this time.

Denver did not have bench their starting five played most of regular season games and won ring last year it was obvious that they wher gased almost every game this run even if they pass Wolves they will surely loose vs Mavs...that was obvious....all blame should be on coaches and front office of Denver....at the same tima Wolves had 2 all stars best 6th man and awesome supporting cast and is obvious this team is made to win vs Nuggs thx to Connely...so i would like for Wolves to take ring this year cause they have simmiliar path like Denver have winning the right way with little trades

@@nickwilson7241 exactly correct in that that was another team effort, although at least Kobe rebounded well. Gasol was probably the key man in that game, and arguably series. Had 9 offensive boards and played great defence. Artest and Fisher their most efficient scorers weirdly enough. And that's without even mentioning the usual Lakers home cooking from the refs. But, with time, people forget these details and default to the lazy narrative.

@@nickwilson7241 yeah, his rebounding and playmaking was decrnt. All other starters minus McDaniels equalled or matched his boards. The team defence was incredible and he played a role in that, although let's not act like he anchored that either. Kat and Rudy did that. The key takeaway is that he absolutely had a A+ series for a 22 year old. No doubt about. 27, 5 and 5 on great efficiency with good defence. But let's not act like thjs Game 7 was some coming-of-age next MJ moment. Cos it wasn't. His teammates bailed him out.
