Tim Wright Fine Violins: Edward Pamphilon violin

A different kind of video today! Tim is just so excited to show you this Edward Pamphilon violin, made in England circa 1670.
Pamphilon is an enormously interesting maker at the very dawn of British violin making: his work has a good deal in common with the early Dutch makers from whom he may have learnt.
This is a seriously early instrument that is happily at home in modern repertoire: a real gem!
The violin will be added to our website soon but in the meantime, if you would like further information please do not hesitate to contact us.
