    Absolutely love it too! My partner is Italian and I took her last year to this tiny island which was so special to me, all we could see around us was the sea. It brought her back to the original novella which was her favourite story, and the incredible adaption. She bought me the book which I read in about an hour, and I never thought they'd be able to capture that unique feel in the movie, and yet... Amazing performance, wish he'd talked about it!

    Lie To Me was such an amazing show, and I was so disappointed when it was canceled. And Four Rooms was fantastic. Tim Roth is definitely one of my all time favorite actors.

    @Poly.Stars33d when you watch four rooms, give it to the third story. first one isn't all that. second one is either hit or miss (i liked it). third and fourth are good. its a sort of anthology movie with 4 different directors and each story has a different tone. and roth pulls them all together. and yeah . . . lie to me deserved another season

    I've watched most of his movies and all were amazing. But only when I watched Lie to Me that I truly realized what a brilliant actor he is. Lie to Me is probably my favorite TV show ever, and I do think that it didn't get the attention that it deserves.

    I believe the first time I saw Tim Roth was in Rob Roy. His character was so unbelievably compelling. I was attracted to him and revolted by him as well as moved by his pain and broken ness. He was one sick boy. Brilliant acting.

    Yeah he's my favorite villain ever in that movie. Just the originality of the villain being not only a a fop, but a fop with TIM ROTH'S FACE, and Roth, freakishly talented as he is, making us feel bad about someone who couldn't be more disgusting. As bad as they get, yet complex. Bravo.

    These are my favorite videos that GQ puts out. Just love hearing actor/actresses break down characters they played in past films and give little stories. Tim Roth is a phenomenal actor! Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, The Hateful Eight... Roth and Tarantino together make Gold!

    Whenever I see this man, I get reminded of Cal Lightman, and the fact that Lie to Me got cancelled. I still feel the same sadness that I first felt when I looked for the next season and found out that it was over. That show deserved so much better.

    Upon my soul, I truly thought Roth should have received an academy award for Thade in Planet of the Apes. Yes, it was a lightweight movie, but as an acting performance - his was tour de force. I've NEVER seen a human actor breathe more life into an animal character - especially an over-the top, outrageous character - and have you believe it. Still in awe these many years later...

    My mind was completely blown by The Legend of 1900. i stayed up watching it and then was too sad to sleep... No other actor's performance has affected me this way. Who else loves Tim in this film? And why wasn't it mentioned here? That got me really bummed, but i thoroughly enjoyed the rest of it, especially The Hit story. Made me laugh.

    Bring back 'Lie to Me'! It was and still is my favorite show. I went and studied with Dr Paul Ekman that Leitman was based on. I'd recommend it to anyone. Four Rooms is also underrated. His performance in Rob Roy was Oscar worthy.

    How on earth could you not talk about Four Rooms? It's in my personal opinion THE Tim Rothest movie of all. No one else could have played that role. When I think of him, this will always be the first movie that pops up in my head.

    purple headed hedgehog Entire movie always felt like filmed theater to me, with the stage-like ramp, echoing rooms the size of a theater stage (even the bathroom), dominance of indoor dialog scenes etc. Whole thing could've been done as a live theater performance with minimal changes and only basic stage and light management.

    I love Tim Roth. He's such a sweet, kind soul. He is extremely talented at acting. I am always impressed when he does a different accent. Some actors do a different accent for one of two films and Tim has done SO many. I love Reservoir Dogs so much. Freddy is a cutie. He's so good in Rob Roy. Amazing performance. I saw Selma a few weeks ago and he did great. His accent is so good. I'm trying to watch his entire filmography. I'm only on 50 films. About halfway there.

    The best thing about Tim Roth is that every time I see one of his performances I look up who played that part. Such a good actor that I see his character and not him like so many other actors. Plus Four Rooms was awesome and a missed opportunity here.

    "Elvis ragdoll" That just sums up David Lynch as a director, to me. It's hilarious and sounds silly, but you know exactly what he means. Made me laugh out loud. Up there with "Can I get a bisquick?"

    Disappointed that Gridlock’d wasn’t discussed here - that is a really good black comedy and Roth stars alongside Tupac Shakur who’s gone on to achieve legendary status since his untimely death so it would’ve been interesting to hear Roth’s experiences working with Tupac.
