After Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler) forfeited the first game the team walks out on him. Vince (Michael B. Jordan) and Landry (Jesse Plemons) are left to deal with the fall out of the team's loss. The Booster's secret is out when Buddy (Brad Leland) tells Coach that the Panthers' star player, Luke (Matt Lauria) actually lives in East Dillon.

East Dillon was the best years of the show - it distilled everything great about the previous years without the few bad bits and added on that extra bit of greatness

Yeah I think they were much better. Showing the struggles they had of building a team from nothing with no money and no support. You kind of always expected the panthers to win state, but with the lions we saw them progress and slowly get better and better.
Coach didn’t even hesitate 😂😂
Tim was always loyal to coach
Riggins was the only one that respects Coach Taylor more than anyone else

Matt Saracen love him, that's the difference. Tim respect coach and try really hard to impove hroughout the series. Taylor had 5 sons: Saracen, Riggins, Street, Vince and Smash. 5 differents relationships, five way to help them shining in and out the field

wish Riggins could have stayed at college and worked his way to D1 and kicked butt.
l always wished they expanded more on their relationship. they could've had a special bond.

Without riggins the show wouldn’t last this long. I was about to stop watching after season 3 but the man made the series interesting

Tim Riggins was the best Character of Friday Night Lights and the Best Fullback in History. But I've wished Tim Riggins will play football in college and NFL. I hope Tim Riggins & Tyra Collette are married. I've wished I need a celebrity hero who looks like Brian Smash Williams & Tim Riggins, maybe I'll name them Derek Peterson & Deuce Patterson.
I gotta go with Saracen but Tim is great
Its a shame. Tim should have just went to college with that scholarship.

Tim was never particularly academically inclined. Can’t get rally girls to do your schoolwork in college. And truthfully, college isn’t for everybody.

It was more of Lyla and Billy pressing him to go. His passions were more toward learning a trade like fixing cars with Billy instead of some degree
