O'Connor missed Libet's trie opinion which was that we have free will in the forn of veto power, We can veto the action, we can veto the action despite readiness potential.
yes matter is your creator. In the sense that you are comprised of matter. It took no mind to create you unless you consider your (real) mother and father, other than you parents no mind was involoved in matter combining itself into you. We atheist do not know the origin of matter...you sir, are the one claiming that knowledge.
