Tim Leiweke is the best thing that could have happened to MLSE and Toronto. This guy has big visions and hope. I've been paying attention to him since he got hired a year ago and look what's he done so far. Look at TFC, Look at the Raptors. He got the World Juniors hockey tournament to come to Toronto (finally) not once, but twice. NBA All-Star game is coming to Toronto. And he hasn't even started with the Maple Leafs yet. Just imagine what he's going to do there. Great times ahead. Now, if only the negative people would shut up and just embrace the winds of change that's happening to Toronto sports. Acceptance of the culture of defeat no longer applies

See it to believe it dude. I'm not gonna believe anything Tim says until i see the leafs lift that cup. Other than that Tim can talk all he wants.

As a Torontonian, I am absolutely THRILLED to see someone like Tim Leiweke become a part of our sports landscape. Toronto really needs to have visionaries like this who are not afraid to make the tough decisions to win; its what will really set us apart. I can already feel the tremors of success beginning to resonate and its completely contagious. Great interview here- leaves me very excited to see how this will play out in the short term; and long term! Victory is addicting, and this is so very exciting!!

Thank you for uploading the full 40 minutes of Tim Leiweke's interview! This was yet another excellent interview done by Strombo, asking a lot of questions I had myself about the new MLSE management.

Everytime I see him on TV, I gave a cold stare right at him, not because he's working for the Leafs, but the reason he went to Toronto is to escape from the Michael Jackson death trial and I knew he was involved. Well I'm glad he's not helping with MLSE anymore. I never trusted that man at all.

I like the Pres. a lot. I think he epitomizes the kind of fresh thinking that will bring about a turnaround not only in MLSE but the city as a whole. Too bad he's an American because he'd make a great mayor. Builders like Ujiri and Leiweke will help fulfill Toronto's promise as a great city. It's a shame that so many small minded people may re-elect Rob "Tommy boy" Ford for mayor when there are people out there who could actually "move the needle" towards making Toronto a better community

Those are Forbes numbers that incorporate non-material things (such as "economic strength of the sport" Considering Mexico is the biggest soccer economy in the world, numbers such as the economic strength of soccer in Mexico City would blow Toronto out of the water). We don't have numbers like that for Mexican teams because Forbes doesn't do them. All I did was point out 3 major league teams that play in Mexico City, without question a bigger city than Toronto. The actual strength of the brand of the Maple Leafs is $175 mill, which is almost the exact same as the brand of Club America. Their stadium is guaranteed to be worth a LOT more too (its the fucking azteca). SO how about you keep your insults to your self you silly little highschooler

Tim is a smarter man than me. He just forgot that Mexico City is technically a North American city. Many, many people make this mistake (central america is only the countries south of Mexico)

No one considers Mexico City a part of NORTH AMERICA. Only maps include it lol. And you know what he meant.
