Tim Ketlinski: Idaho's Favorite Hot Rodding, Racing, Fabrication and Builder Dude

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Tim Ketlinski is passionate about all things automotive. If it's something that can be taken apart and put back together more detailed and perfected, he's your guy. Starting at a young age after moving to Idaho from Southern California, Tim read everything he could about hot rods and race cars and anything in-between.
On this episode we sit down and talk to the guy who at one time had the FASTEST street car in the state of Idaho. With hard work, dedication and a lot of Bologna sandwiches, he stuck to his guns and helped create a name for himself in drag racing and hot rod building...

Wow, what a wonderful, amazing, human being that obviously loves what he does! You have had so many wonderful and interesting people on your channel, but, I think this man is the winner. Thank you for what you do, please don’t stop doing it!

I used to poke my head in Qualafab when I was in high school to see all the cool stuff being built. Tim was definitely an influence of what was cool in my eyes. Good interview!

What an amazing craftsman, Tim is.... It not just bolting on parts.... It's building a vehicle (either car or boat) from the ground up and taking great pride in your work.... Also knowing what your strengths and weaknesses are, Paint frustrates me too... It never turns out the way I want and it takes me double the time to get a crappy job when compared to my buddy who is a professional painter. So I leave it to him!

I really enjoyed this episode! I could really relate....when he said he started with model cars and bicycles, I said me too, then you showed the pic of his Yamaha BMX bike...I had exactly the same bicycle! When he started talking about books I thought I bet it was a lot of HP books, yep and when you asked him what was your favorite book I said out loud I bet its was Ron Forniers Metal fabricators hand book. then he said it was the engine swap book and I thought well thats a good one too, then Rons book, I slapped the table and said I knew it! What a great guy and it looks like he's built some really awesome stuff!
