If it's not a cash game then Phil is one of the best hold em players regardless of how anyone feels about him. He does ultimately credit people in dozens of interviews, pre game shows, and such. Hes just a hothead that knows his outbursts make him wanted for entertainment not just poker talent. Phil draws crowds just like Duuur, Negreanu, and several other high profile players do for their style or personality on top of successes.

Phil is actually a nice guy. There's a reason he is well liked among pros and regulars. He's just a bad loser is all. It doesn't necessarily define who he is as a person. He's great for the game imo.
