Tilapia Tacos for Marine Science and Horticulture classes at MIHS

The Mercer Island High School Marine Science and Horticulture classes were visited by professional chefs this afternoon who gave demonstrations of proper fish cleaning and prep techniques and also made fish and vegan tacos for students on June 4. Professional chefs Cody Rogers and David Cobb from Bon Appetit Management Company gave two presentations to students between noon and 3pm. Some of the fish for the tacos was provided by tilapia freshly harvested from the school’s aquaponic system.
