I used to have the fear of dogs 🐶 When I was only 18 months old a dog snapped at me, which caused me to be TERRIFIED of dogs. that memory of a dog snapping at me was still there, even though I don’t actually remember what happened at all. I got better being around dogs as I got older but was still very scared. it wasn’t until several years ago when my cousin got her own dog that I wasn’t completely terrified anymore, I was still a bit scared but over time I got more comfortable being around her dog and other dogs. I’m not terrified of dogs anymore (still a bit scared of big dogs but not at all like I used to be) and even have a dog now.
