Note: there are heavy filters on top of this, in some you can see it glitching and also shimmering especially around the jaws of the clients. Most likely to hide the fact that the surgery did not remove all wrinkles so they opted to hide it with uncanny filters. The skin is also swollen after surgery and takes a couple of MONTHS to go back to looking more natural. Keeping this in mind, the surgeries are still awful. But at least they don’t look just as uncanny in reality, but actually just botched, which is even sadder.

I live in South Korea, and I can honestly tell you that a lot of these after images (esp the women) are perfectly in line with beauty standards in East Asia, specifically South Korea. A lot of Korean women are pressured into getting a very dangerous procedure done where the doctor shaves the jaw bone down to make their jawline narrower and sharper. It's meant to erase the typical rounder "Korean" jawline. The rhinoplasties here are also designed to make the typical "Korean" noses more narrow, tall, and European-looking. A lot of it is based on anti-Asian and pro-white supremacy sentiments, despite it being perpetuated by East Asian beauty standards. It's really sad to see, honestly. A lot of people in Korea get surgeries like this, some at extremely young ages (20s-30s) and ruin their faces forever.

@@anneliselim602 right! i've been seeing it more and more these days. its sad bc the jaw bone shaving surgery is INCREDIBLY dangerous and totally permanent. It can also cause severe TMJ and dental problems later in life, assuming you survive the surgery itself. it's very telling that SK has one of the highest survival rates from that sort of surgery, since many Korean plastic surgeons have trained so hard in that one specific procedure.
