Gotta be honest, doing what nate does is probably tryharding. I understand getting annoyed at the moment while playing in a match against a tryhard. What i just dont get is why people are getting mad and actually commenting on his tik tok 💀. Like bruh get a life. You can't really say much or complain about people sweating other than it's annoying at times. It's also called a comp game for a reason. Either you compete or you don't.

that's cod, literally almost nobody sits in corners on shatterline and that's one reason why I love the game.

People fail to realize that sometimes when a player is THIS good they really don't have to try anymore. It's effortless at this point

The movable blocks in the map are so underrated. It just adds another layer to your own methods for offence and defense when tacticals aren't available.

This game feels so good and refreshing. I've been looking for a multiplayer fps CoD alternative that wasn't a BR for a long time. And this game scratches that itch.

the TTK, movement, abilities&gunplay look solid, might have to give this game a try Destiny 2&Warzone get stale after awhile

@@YourAce_ My thoughts exactly. PVP used to be what kept me playing. The AE changes and reintroduction of sbmm boggles my mind. The changes are always so bad that I'm almost positive it's intentional bad decision making. On the bright side, I did happen to try the new Iron Banner mode this season and I got some of that same experience that I used to back in the day. You should try it if you haven't already.

That's true, but that also depends on the game. You see, SL is purposefully fast paced and designed to be played this way. Slide CD is very low, you can jump while sliding and aim/shoot with no negative effects, recoil/spread is almost non-existent and TTK is super low. It's a combo of design decisions to make the game be played as fast as possible. The issue is not the game, it's the people who are on a completely different vibe and think all FPSs are camping shitshows. They'll surely get wrecked in games like this one and cry like babies.

game reminds me a little of Dirty Bomb and i loved that game

I played this game and yes it is fun, hope they fix some netcode issues and balance but it has potential. I´ll be patience. Something funny is people complaining about "sweets"... bro if you do not want to be punished just play single-player. No matter what, there are high-skilled players in fps and you're going to face them, it is a multiplayer experience, you play against a lot of persons and it is normal to find "talent". That thing about good players ruins the game... idk, maybe gamers must work on managing frustration and emotions because being mad at a skilled guy is not healthy. Are you angry? Stop playing. Are you not enjoying this genre anymore? Find other games or entertainment.

I got the tier 3 sniper and honestly its not too great anymore. You get tons of hitmarkers because the arms hitbox is so massive and often covers up the chest, so you just end up getting your shot absorbed by their arms all the time. Aiming for the stomach works more often but its still really annoying. Seems pretty balanced they just need to nerf other shit.

I wonder if they will fix this. Siege had an issue of characters arms getting in the way all the time, so they made changes.

People just got to accept that players are going to be like this everywhere. Times have changed in the gaming space. People want to win so what else were they expecting. These guys acting like they live under a rock. This is nothing new. Great gameplay as always, keep doing you Nate! Also if those same people could play like you did they would be doing the same thing.

Just do what I've done since I was a teenager playing competitive games online. When they whine and say "Try hard" I would just always tell them "Well, you better try harder then".

i think itll blow just enough to where it has a good comp scene and such. as someone who plays a lot of free FPS games, shatterline is easily one of, if not the best free FPS games. as long as they dont get blown up by russia get overwhelmed by the amount of attention the game is getting just in a weeks time. game has a lot of potential and im hoping it grows and becomes the next big shooter.

I really don't understand this whole "tryhard" and "sweat" thing, those words are literally only used by people who are bad at the game and can't stand to play against people who are actually good. True like everyone else I don’t like losing but there’s games where I am just getting outplayed. It’s annoying when playing a “try hard” or even worse a group of them but it’s part of the game and some people forget that. I was playing COD Cold War yesterday and some dude got so mad at the enemy team for simply being good. He kept claiming they were sitting in corners with shotguns which was not true they were just better. Dude sounded like he wanted to cry talking to the enemy team it was so weird man. I just want to share I played with Nate once years ago in MW2019 groundwar and the dude is insane, dropped a nuke an 80+ while the second highest kills all match were 30ish. Nate is just on another level I can see why some people, mostly low skilled players, would hate to have him in their lobby. He is a legit monster

Preface, you're actually good, nice movement, decent recoil control, and good aim with decent game sense. That being said, a lot of the player base is not, and it confuses me to see those comments. I literally had the game bug out, and had the previous matches reward screen up with a radar in the corner. I could not see at all. Relying only on the radar and notging else, i still got 6 kills(not an impressive number until you remember i was literally unable to see anything other than the radar)

Imma grind this game and upload clips this game is sooooo good

I hate when people say I’m sweating or a tryhard if I’m playing against other people I’m playing to win i don’t like losing, if you want to play casual & chill play against bots that’s what they’re there for

This is one of those 'don't hate the player, hate the game' situations. Sliding is very good because it so quiet compared to footsteps, but there is no tradeoff for not sliding combined with networking and animation causing the fastest movements to be less accurate in terms of position updates. In other words, players get the sense that something is wrong with doing it, but instead of recognizing the game mechanic itself is flawed relative to the other mechanics, they focus on the players maximizing the use of the mechanic and think those players are wrong for using it.

@@TheDentistexe Let me try and give you some insight from a former “tryhard“ I used to hold that same mentality and attitude and then adult life hit in a shitty way. I don’t have time to get good anymore, I just now logged my 300th hour on Elden ring after playing every day after work for the last 6 months. I wish I had time to “get good” or be better at the game, I shy away from FPS games even though I love them because of that, if I finally get a group of old friends together to jump on apex or cod we get absolutely destroyed because SBMM is so aggressive, specially Apex. After a good game you’ll start getting 3 stack masters in your match completely dominating the lobby. I wish at least a couple of multilayer games were casual and laid back. We used to spend hours in TABS just dicking around and having fun before the player base grew and it got competitive. I don’t hate people that try hard and master games I just wish they played with each other more often and not ruin our drunk fun lol. Anyhow, rant over. I also just miss playing for hours on end trying to finally get the hang of quick scoping or getting the doom rocket hops just right.

@@SaltedTurkey The problem is, that imho they are not "sweating" or "tryharding", they are just being good. You don't tell a racer to drive slower because casual drivers can't keep up. The good players have earned their right to have fun on your expense by investing more time into the game. They owe you nothing... they aren't your dad or older brother who will let you win the chess game even though you are still dumb as a rock :D by "you" I dont mean you you, but casuals in general :D

@@TheDentistexe I will continue the professional driver analogy, no I would not tell a professional driver to slow down so I can win but there should be no reason why we would be on the same track. He competes against other professionals to break records and master his craft but I like to go-kart on Sundays while having some beers. And again, I never said casual players were owed anything, just expressing that there aren't many casual multiplayer games anymore. It's not about slowing down the pros, its about getting a few relaxing Sunday leagues where everyone is on an even playing field and looking to have goofy fun.
