The creator program is now available for non-US citizens (limited countries), albeit at half the remuneration of US citizens, unfair or what? Would it not follow that the affiliate program would also be made available to non-US citizens?

You're wrong, you must be in the US or Canada. You don't have to be a citizen.

@@jackharris3641 no man I’m in the US. The weird part is I can’t even see anything about affiliate marketing on the app. I can only promote my product and can’t add anything to my showcase. I just bought 5k followers so let’s see if it fixes it.
