Excellent work my friend and thank you for the shout out.
Just picked up my T1x today. Itching to take it out on the range. Such a beautiful rifle
Great build. I love my tikka!

Me too!
Man that painting looks awesome
That bolt, sweet as butter. Only by looking at it i know i will love Tikka.
Just subscribed. Your lucky $500, in Canada the lest I can find one is $660 on the east coast of New Brunswick. I have seen some for $700. Awesome paint job.
Your rifle looks great! I am torn between the Tikka T1X and the Bergara BMR. In either case the Bitty suppressor is definitely going to happen.
Very nice paint job on the stock Zack. Where did you purchase the stencil? Your Tikka T1x looks amazing. I have the Tikka T1x as well. It is an excellent shooting rifle.
Nice job...nice and quiet toooooo......

Yes even with a tiny suppressor on it this gun is super quiet.
Nice looking rifle. I've been spending all my time with 10/22's and I think I'm pretty much 'maxed out' at this point with that platform. I want to go to a bolt gun soon. What did you not like about the CZ?
Your paint job write up is where? It’s awesome!
Verygood
Best paint job I've seen on youtube can you provide a link to how you did this.

@@ZackCarlson Thank you for the quick reply
Thanks for the update. Have you seen any of the 16" barreled T1Xs in person yet? If both 16" and 20" had been available which would you have gone with?
@ZackCarlson
4 жыл бұрын
I haven't! If I had I would have bought the 16" for sure. The 20" isn't bad with such a small suppressor on it, but I would have prefer'ed the nimbleness of the 16"
Been waiting for you to post another video but I'm just gunna tell you. First, I got my Q El Camino finally 😁, ordered the can back in November, paperwork filed on February 8 and received agust 15(barely a wait). Their customer service is just superb. I want to keep the box as a momento but it got wet one night( I know not what I do sometimes) and I chatted with them about that and they are sending me a new box with my purchase of the disassembly tool. If anyone here wants that tool you can ask nicely and they will send one out at the cost of 25$. Anyway in the future I hope they release a couple more cans because I like dealing with them.

Cool deal. What's the tool you got? I've been using the tool for the Erector to get the cap off.

@@ZackCarlson Yea it's the erector tool. They don't sell it anywhere and I asked them nicely so thier going to make that transaction even though I don't have the erector.

@@ZackCarlson What solution is your go to for the ultrasonic cleaner?
@ZackCarlson

I use the Hornady solution that came with the package. Not saying it’s the best since I haven’t done any testing with other solutions.

Would you be so nice and tell me the Barrel diameter at the muzzle and the Length of the Threads of the T1x? Thanks!!
Which 457 did u have?
which 457 model did you have?

We’re did you trade-in the CZ?
Is that the tikka factory stock?
Do your scope rings fit snug in the pic rail ? I just got one of those rails and my rings are not very snug they move front to back a little
@ZackCarlson

From what I can tell yes they are snug.
I couldn’t really understand how u painted your stock. It looks good. What kind of kit did you use or did I understand you correctly. I’d like to do that to mine

That rail looks pretty flat, are you sure its got any MOA built in? Looks like 0.
Do you feel the expense of the premium 22lr ammo is worth it over the CCI SV?

Honestly at 50 yards not really. It’s good for testing mechanical accuracy though

Doesn't the Victor cheek extension get in the way of the cleaning rod/bore guide?
@SCQT

doubt the bolt travels back that far, i would imagine it does get in the way of a rod

@@SCQT I got the bore-tech guide and victor riser. Only can use the cheek piece, the 2 included spacers block the guide.

@@michaelstarmer3497 oh my bad, I misread that. I thought you said cleaning rod / bolt. Good to know though, that really is enough to keep me from using it. I pretty much consider an adjustable cheek piece mandatory on a precision bolt gun, for myself. When I was going to get a T1x(have many other tikkas, and love them all) I had planned on using this riser. However I ended up going with the B14R, so moot at this point.
Nice.. what’s better this or the cz 457?

It's easy to claim sub MOA at 50 yards but the truth is rifles shoot much differently at 100 yards the results are no so good if really want to know what your rifle can do shoot it at 100 yards on video
That ain't "flush"
