@@anonym-yj2qk I am a year 8 but for u Americans it is 7th grade like u. My mum doesn’t let me have products but I have coconut oil. You shouldn’t give up. Try to convince your mum, if u haven’t already. U could maybe try tell her that it will make your hair smooth, silky and not damaged. And that it is also made of natural resources.

If possible I would recommend getting the basics. On social media everything is so overhyped but in reality for curly hair, you want a shampoo and conditioner, a leave in conditioner and styling product. What styling product you choose depends on your hair type. For example. If you have finer hair. Choose something like a curl cream, if it’s thicker choose a butter or gel. Make sure to do some research to find out what works for you x

i know this is late, i have 2 b/c hair and i’ve found that shea moisture/raw sugar products are great. a good hair gel is super important, look for one without alcohols. DO NOT DRY BRUSH YOUR HAIR AND DO NOT SHAMPOO DAILY!

When I was younger (3-7 years old) I had beautiful coils, but I really wanted to have straight hair for some reason and my mother never bought me products for my type of hair. Over the years it straightened out in places, got thicker in others, was wavy in other places, curly under... idk what to do with it now.

Use products without any sulfates and parabens. Even better if it’s specifically for curly hair and it’s vegan. Also use a leave in conditioner after u wash ur hair and other products that is best for ur curl pattern ! Scrunching helps as well.

same happened with mine, you just gotta perfect your curl routine. dont brush when its dry, use less shampoo, diffuse, etc.

i’ve followed all of these steps before i feel like i’ve tried everything but i live in such a humid place it just gets so frizzy by the second day and it’s been so frustrating

Try looking in the ingredients of the products and try to get ones that don’t have glycerin bc it attracts moisture so maybe that could be something that causes ur hair to get frizzy really fast. And if u do use products with glycerin high on the list try to use them towards the beginning of ur routine instead of towards the end. I hope this helped!

Co-signing Valeria PLUS look into finding an antihumectant product that you put on last (atop your other products). I use Trepadora Papaya Slip; it's expensive (outside Europe; I live in the States) but it works REALLY well. Currently visiting family in the southern US (super humid and rainy right now) and my hair's holding up pretty well.

Avoid Glycerin at all costs!! They love to put it in gels for some reason, it's so annoying🙄 I only ever use gels without it now and it's killed the frizz!

@@buttercup1648 no, you can leave the conditioner in & even wash it out & reapply more conditioner. You can use regular conditioner or a leave-in!

If you're more hair than person, 2b/2c type and don't know what to do with it I highly recommend getting a shag cut, the layers revive your hair, gives good volume with less hair and frames the face so well I love it! Also mullets or wolf type of hair, yes it looks different but it's SO BEAUTIFUL and different with curls, give it a thought. When I wanted to get the inspo I never saw curly hair with these hairstyles and it's so stunning!

I need a wavy hair routine, my hair went from been straight, with age / not taking good care of it, to wavy. I can’t no longer just let it air dry, because of all the freeze, and now my hair is wavy lol. so i am a white girl with very low porosity hair and 2c/3a curls. Every video i watch abt low porosity hair is often made by black women with type 4 curls and i cant seem to find my hair type anywhere else. For example, i cannot leave the shower and let my hair sit for 15 min before styling it bc itll just dry super fast and become frizzy. Anybody relate? lets bond

Yeah actually the first time I tried it it was like really hard. Thankfully when rebuying it I have found it in its liquid form. Maybe its an error on storage? Try getting it from Ulta or Walmart and make sure its liquidy so its easier to apply. Its a great strong hold gel 👌💞

I use lus brand curl cream. Its light weight and fabulous. I finish with a tiny amount of moose on the ends.

@@115mendonshreyasamit7 I sleep with my hair on top 🎩 f my head in a pony tail every night and on a silk or satin pillowcase. In the morning I just spray it with water if it's messed up and scrunch it with gel but not a lot. This is what I do but I know there is so many videos on KZread for Curly hair that will help you find what works best for your hair.

Anyone else with curly hair absolutely hate products? They either just crisp up or leave my hair lank and greasy. Also wrecks my pillow and gives me spots. I just end up with day 2 frizzy hair permanently because I refuse to wear product unless I’m actually trying to make an effort

Try products that are lighter with no alcohol. Heavy products that have a lot of oils or 'butters' can weigh down your hair and sit on top of it rather than getting absorbed. Covering your hair at night will save your pillow too!☺

hii so hair needs two things, protein and hydration. curly hair especially needs more hydration than protein, because it is already so packed with protein. so shampooing your hair too much or using other cleansing products instead of hydrating masks, balms, and oils, can make your hair brittle, frizzy, and lose its curl. maybe you just need to cut back on the shampoo, or add an extra-strength leave-in conditioner to your routine? lmk what works :)

I have been doing this routine and u will love it i will take a empntey bottle and add conditioner for curly hiar 1 table spoon of coconut oil and and shampoo and after done add oil I recommend argan oil and coconut and dry brush and dry and style it ur welcome iam not a prefoinal-btw I have a nail care routine like this comment if u want the routine 🤍

Why do these people get so much volume by styling standing and brushing and not using clips i- 😩

For those of y’all who have long hair, don’t want to use a ton of product or heat, I have waist long hair and I’m able to make gorgeous curls that bounce and last several days. I shower and make sure my hair is clean, then I take pinky sized sections and cut them around pipe cleaners. Put a beanie on to keep them secure, sleep then remove and voila

If you are still a beginner it also may be that your hair is still forming. Your hair will become more curly overall if you are consistent.

@@nicolew3391 YES, I figured out I had low porosity hair so it was hard to get products into my cuticles so it would never get moisture into the cuticle so it was frizzy and then the products would sit on top which didn’t allow it to dry so I started using lighter products and adding a little bit of water to every product I use and now it’s dry and moisturized!

If your hairs already curly, you don't need a diffuser but it helps. If your hair is wavey/doesn't curl naturally or from the root, you definitely need a diffuser.
