I doubled the recipie and used way less salt, way less being 1/8th of a teaspoon (mind you I was using kosher salt) way better, 10/10

Don’t forget to heat treat the flour or kill any bacteria! Also I would just use a pinch of salt because that is a lot of salt!❤️

Why would they sell flower with bacteria? Of course bacteria will be in everything you cant get rid of them. Simply heating it up wont get rid of the bacteria. You'll need to freeze it on lowest tempature or bake it on highest temperature, this heat treating thing is stupid.

@@annie4537the most effective way is to bake for 10 minutes at 350. The way that will upgrade the flavour most is by toasting it in a pan. But the most easiest way is by putting it in the microwave. If you don’t want to heat treat flour, use nut or seed based flours, like almond flour.

NO. Please guys if you do this BAKE THE FLOUR FIRST. The bigger reason you don't eat raw cookie dough isn't the eggs, the eggs are pasteurized, you have a very low chance of getting salmonella from them. But you have a much HIGHER chance of getting e. Coli from raw flour! Spread it on a baking sheet and bake at 300°F for 10 minutes and you're good to go. Edit for the lazy folk: microwave your flour in a microwave safe container. 20-30 second intervals, stirring in between, until it reaches 160°F in temp. Then it's safe.

Guys you need to add brown sugar to make cookie dough, or its not going to be good.

Another warning is don’t use flour unless you baked it! That’s what makes you sick in cookie dough not the raw eggs!

bruh it was so salty so i tried to add like 2 1/2 tbsp of sugar to calm the salt down but it was still the same, if your making this recipe i def recommend you add no salt (cuz the butter is salty too) or the SMALLEST pinch.

I tried this and it was RRREEEAAALLLYYYY salty i would use only 1/4 tsp salt

⚠️DO NOT EAT RAW FLOUR there is bacteria and raw ingredients in flour that you can't safely consume raw you need to heat treat the flour Oven: 350 for 10 minutes Microwave: 1 minute on high Stovetop: medium high heat in a pan for about 10-8 minutes stirring Once you have chosen one of these steps you flour is safe to eat raw if you can't heat treat the flour you can use almond flour or oat flour if you run it through a fine mesh strainer and consume those 2 raw (oat and almond flour)

I made it and it was a little salty and too buttery so a heads up for people to follow another receipt p.s. I don’t mean to be rude. Oh also head treat you flower first.

1 sugar 4floue Slay 1 tee spoon vanilla 1tbsp butter

I did add extra flour because it was a little more liquidy, then cookie dough. I also added some more vanilla sauce and sugar to make it more sweet. It doesn’t exactly taste like a real cookie dough, but it taste all right.

Can the vanilla extract be optional ?
