TIJUANA to San Diego Border Crossing [SAN YSIDRO]

TIJUANA to San Diego Border Crossing [SAN YSIDRO]: In this step-by-step guide, you will see exactly how to cross into the U.S. from Tijuana Mexico using both the San Ysidro Border Crossing (Ped East) and the Cross Border Express at Tijuana's Airport. First, we take a quick walk from Friendship Arch on Revolution Avenue in downtown Tijuana to San Ysidro where more then 50 million people cross the U.S./Mexico border each year. At San Ysidro, we show you the extraordinary difference in using the Sentri line versus the general line for the pedestrian crossing. If you are planning to cross the U.S./Mexico border or are simply interested in seeing what it's like, this is one video not to miss!

This was a perfect video. I have used CBX before, but never the pedestrian crossing at San Ysidro. We crossed this last weekend. Keeping to the right using the GOES cards was a great tip. Thank you for posting.

@@TwoGayExpats thanks for the quick response. I rarely go into San Diego, so it's not that big of a deal. If the general line is long you can take the shuttle bus for $10. It's pretty easy and only takes 30-45 minutes.

Hello Sir,could you please tell me what is the difference between Global Intry and Sentri Intry.Does Sentri intry is usesd by persons who do not have American Visa but they have filled out their own personal information in CBP One App?

  • @TwoGayExpats

From my understanding, if you hold a SENTRI card, you can enter the U.S. by land and air only. On the other hand, Global Entry allows entry into the U.S. by land, air, and sea. If you're deciding between Global Entry and SENTRI, it's worth noting that Global Entry also provides access to SENTRI lanes at the U.S.-Mexico border if you register your vehicle with CBP. On a personal level, we have Global Entry and had no trouble using the SENTRI expedited lanes by foot at the border.

Hello again..I meant that after registring in CBP App and getting promission to cross the US border I have to wait in the Global line Intry, which is crowded or go to the left side and using Sentri Intri where there is no line and not crowded?@@TwoGayExpats

@saeedirani6612 there is no global entry line at this crossing only regular and SENTRI. If you have global entry, you can use the SENTRI line which has practically no wait but like in the video, you may have to kind of say excuse me and push past to get to the entrance for SENTRI as the regular line is overflowing into the SENTRI expedited lane.
