as a "random youtube person" I'll try to give my two cents: If we watch the actually level of skill and difficulty and full range of movement then I think people will find it hard to disagree that Tight Eyez was on a far superior level. The complexity of movement he demonstrated while staying on top of the music is really hard to argue with. So people who are on Kefton's side will always argue the musicality card. Musicality is a huge part of the game but we're at a level right now wherein "moving to what I hear" is a very common form of "musicality". reading a lot of the comments here I agree with people saying that that kind of musicality is a little lackluster. I also agree with those who say that it is the minimum requirement to even be in the battle scene in general. don't get me wrong, it does not mean Kefton was "basic" in any sense, but I believe that people rooting for Kefton should at least take that into consideration when analyzing this battle. It was a great battle and If I had to judge it then I'd give it to Tight Eyez. On a personal note, I think making fun of the Krump style at an all styles battle is low. We want to encourage all the styles not belittle them. That can be viewed as discouraging to other krumpers who want to participate in all style battles. -Crane

@@alexadrian5484 The right side was krumpers and the left side was French hip hop so it was pretty even in terms of support. Just watch when Waydi shows up and they're all hyping him up. The telling part of the battle is the least bias ones there (Les Twins) were super hyped for Tight Eyez, and didn't get hyped at all by Kefton. Larry even watched Kefton like 'what are you doing?' even after trying to hype him up. Les Twins are big fans of Tight Eyez and as fellow French hip hop dancers are friends with Kefton given they all share similar friends like Waydi and etc. I'd trust their judgement on this battle 100% and Larry's face says it all.

Tight eyez' second round won the whole battle bro.

Lol, what a fucking moron. KRUMP has elements that have already surpassed popping and hip hop (party dancing/street styles) in every single way. The only thing it hasn't completely surpassed is break, which is a respectable style on its own. You probably don't have anything close to the amount of body control, musicality, character, power, and technical skills to even begin to understand krump. Yes tight eyez is the best, along with beast and a few others. Its far from a monkey dance, and its a lot more complicated than popping and all the sub styles under it.

KRUMP LESSON BY TIGHT EYEZ. MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT.

Tight Eyez was on beat, he just hit a higher tempo that can still mesh with a 4 count. Musicality is more than just a simple move catching a bounce man. That's merely rhythm. Kefton followed that flow, which was pretty dope in his 3rd round. I just felt like he lacked precision at times and his moves didn't look clean at those points. Eyez got that.

That moment at 4:40 was just....goated af. He ended that round right there before it really started

The music that is played makes a huge difference in battles especially if it's a track you created yourself. I felt like that was a bit unfair.

I agree with your point about the music, the first two tracks were more suitable for krumpers. But I also do believe that tight eyez` third round was as good as the other two. It was only a bit short, he probably thought that he already got him with the first two, which is true. I also wanna add that the music in their fist encounter(finals battle ghetto stylez) fitted better two nelsons and keftons style

What about Tight Eyez's respect moral story? If you asked me who is the most disrespectful dancer, I'd say Tight Eyez with no doubt! Why? After I saw him battling Bboy Junior. He didn't show any respect as a human being first! To me he will be the most disrespectful dancer in human history. That is just my opinion.

KRUMP is KRUMP Breaking is Breaking If Junior never had a problem with it and respected Tight Eyez dancer to dancer, what reason do you have to call Tight Eyez the most disrespectful dancer when there are dancers out there that literally fight in battles and Tight Eyez has never done that. Junior addressed how he understood KRUMP involves physical contact but not to wound their opponent physically, only mentally because if you're opponent starts fighting while you KRUMP, the battle is over and the KRUMP dancer dancing wins by default. It even goes like that in KRUMP battles If a KRUMP dancer physically touches their opponent in ways that look illegal in mainstream Hip Hop dance and the opponent reacts to it in a manner of fighting, that opponent loses by default and the battle is over. Clowning would be a more understandable dance.. [for those that don't understand KRUMP] ..to get what I'm saying since it's like the 'Passive' version of KRUMP and less technical. Yes something could've gone wrong but it didnt No one was hurt and Junior had good sportsmanship through it all [On an unrelated matter] [This is an opinion input] Juniors rebuttals were nice [made me think thats what Clowning and Breaking would almost look like if it was combined] and his bboy strength is insane in my opinion Eyez technicality and fluid amount of moves to the music was beyond what Junior showed here in terms of a battle. I've seen Junior do better and Eyez But at the end of the day This was an exhibition battle which means they were just displaying there dance skills to see who could progressively dance better. Like Breaking competitions where judges don't care mostly for powermoves, they care about if you can stay on rhythm and hit beats with a progressive flow And yeah I know I said too much Bless up

I have to admit that I don’t know about KRUMP because it doesn’t affect me, I don’t like it, I find it STUPID, it’s just too much out of beat in my opinion, thats just my view. As far as physical touching goes, you could see at the very beginning of junior and Eyez battle how Eyez threw the towel or whatever they used to decide who to start, thats 1 disrespect. The biggest disrespect was when he approached junior and pushed him over but junior used that against Eyez which was very creative and hat the crowd to hype, and I can imagine how much of a hater Eyez was in that moment where he kicked junior out of pure hate. I mean.. come on man, first of all pay some respect to a very humble man who is handicapped!! That’s just too disgusting. I don’t care how talented, rich, smart, cool you are, how you treat people tells it all! Integrity is everything!

Eyez took the win. Eyez's 2nd round made Larry going crazy 04:40. Kefton is a good dancer too. Nice battle.

I like how larry is just chillin in the back.

The beauty of dance is that no matter how much you might be rooting for one side or the other, when someone emits fire, you have no choice but to admire it. Look at Les Twins during the second round: Larry is to the left of the cameraman in front and Laurent moves to the right of the girl with the bucket hat on the bottom right of the screen. When Tight starts that 2nd round, the energy Tight emits causes Larry to go buck wild and at 5:11 of the video Laurent is ready to lose it. No matter how much the Criminalz Crew (Larry and Laurent excluded) wanted to pump up Kefton, the battle was all but lost. Reminds me of the first round battle between L'eto vs Killason - sometimes you tip your hat to the opponent. Killason could've sprouted wings during the battle and it wouldn't have made a difference. More often than not, the dancer dances to the music but there are times, rare as it might be, where the music and dancer become one and the same. When ever I hear J Squad - Hip Hop 10, I will always think of Tight and whenever I hear 14kt - Rockabye Baby, I will think of L'eto. Nice battle.

Honestly I have watched this so many times and I think kefton and some people who say TE the KRUMPER was not on beat are tripping, the man clearly was on point especially in the 2nd round if you look at his feet the cap tricks and him hitting the ground he went according to the beat in my opinion and for kefton to keep tapping his ear needs to pay attention even that guy with the baby made me so mad! But anyway that is just me

+W Azard I disagree that Nelson is garbage. I used to think he was bad but now I think he is a fantastic DANCER. He is not the greatest popper but he is a great dancer. I respect the craft of being a popper, a krumper, a locker etc but I am only impressed by true dancers. Ones who are able to dance to music outside of their style, and adapt their movement so they are fit for purpose. Nelson is one of those people. Obviously Tight Eyez is a legendary Krumper and a pioneer but I would still choose to watch someone like Nelson or Marvin over him. Just my opinion. Out of curiousity, when did you first start watching Tight Eyez?

Bayo Innocent man Larry and Laurent to me clearly beat tigh eyex in fusion concept. But guess what les twins were battling in France which is an automatic disadvantage for them because French dancers hate them

I love krump dancers... although sometimes it can look crazy to some people even myself at times(not tight eyez tho lol) they are the most creative dancers .... I think that's how I learned to dance faster when I want to in my styles ... because krump was the second style I learned

Tight eyez will never lose. HE is to quick and precise with all his moves to the beat. Everyone else always has one good round and that's it, they cant krump to the beat like him.

Kefton didnt win this battle but he is a good dancer. i think he lacks in expressing a form unless he is just about not having a form. but i feel battling is beat hitting, technique, and storytelling/expressing a picture in one.

Tight Eyez has a massive following - he's also a legend in the dance world, so regardless of what he did, the crowd is going to be behind him 100% ... and I must say, the first 2 tracks fit his style very well - Kefton never dances with that much energy, hence he can never truly win the crowd over during a battle.

I love how they mocked tight eyez about musicality by tapping to their ears while tight eyez hitting all the beats. Crazy even ! Still disappointed with Kefton's round though and I love how larry was giving hype to Tight Eyez.

If anyone needs a Fo sure answer on who won, just watch the Les twin with the black shirt (I think it's Laurent), look at his face expression when both dancer's perform. He was looking at Kefton like what is he doing, and when Tight Eyez got down was like YES!....and...WOW!....

The fact that kefton doesn't know that Tight Eyez is on beat already signifies something. When you call someone out on something and it's obviously false it doesn't bode well for you. I've always been a fan of kefton and he had moments in this but overall he was just not consistently at a high level and Eyez was. In my opinion Eyez won.

If he show his ear, it means he's taking too easy beat and that Kefton is hearing something else that TE is not hearing. That's a way of provoking your opponent, not a way of saying "you're not on beat". Well, for most of the cases.
