Tiger Woods' "Chippy" 5-wood out of the rough | TaylorMade Golf

Спорт

Greatest player of all time, 15-time major champion, and Team TaylorMade's Tiger Woods is here to put on a fairway wood clinic with Scottie Scheffler, Tommy Fleetwood, and Qi10 Fairway. They attack three different pins on the green from about 270 yards out with both 5-woods and 3-woods. Tommy plays his signature draw and Scottie hits a nice fade to show how these guys can hit different shots to the same pin location. #shorts

Ohhh how little you know about tour men in golf history 🤦‍♀️. First that come to mind are of course Ben Hogan, followed by at least 20 others who knew more about the swing and all types of shots than Tiger are folks like Lee Trevino, Gary Player, Sam Snead. It’s just that Tiger had a much more athletic, conditioned body. No one in the old days worked out in the gym except for Gary Player and he was considered quite an odd ball. I’m not much of a fan of Bryson DeChambeau but he obviously is a serious student of swing mechanics and physics.

He was playing with various amateurs and after a couple Of holes would just calmly give them something to help tweak their game. Small steps and gains. Very calm and clear in explaining to them. Can imagine him coaching easily but possibly on the quiet so that the pro does not get undue focus on them to perform to the top level just because tiger coaches them.
