Tiger limping soon after injury to paw
This video of Emma limping through the forest soon after her snare injury is a clear reminder of the threats to tiger survival in the wild. This Year of the Tiger, we know we're running out of time to save Sumatran tigers from extinction. If we don't act now, they'll be gone by 2034, the next Year of the Tiger. The entire front paw was torn off. The paw was probably got caught in a snare. Desperate to free himself, he tried to pull the paw out of the snare so violently that he lost the paw. He was going to die of infection or starved to death because he was no longer able to hunt. Damn the hunter that set the snare. Damn you.
