yoon mirae was famous way before tiger JK... Jk has said many times his wife is a far superior rapper than he is...

I feel the same RM is so underrated ! His liricism, musicality is on a whole different level I can see why the Maknae line gets more attention but even Jungkook's My Time which contains some deep meaningful lyrics n is loved by the JK stans so much is written by none other than Namjoon himself ! He helped his members wid songs whenever they needed guidance he even helped V write his frist song 4 o' clock. Even as just a simple person, not RM but Kim Namjoon he is so special I just hope people would realise that soon enough !! 💜

Yoon Mi Rae - Tasha's skill level is on par with Lauryn Hill. That's how good she is. Of course she doesn't have the overall world influence like Hill (Hill is stronger songwriter/producer also) but there is no rapper that I know who can BOTH rap and sing like Yoon Mi Rae other than Hill. In reality, she gets recognized only in Korea. I wish she was 20 years younger and and got exposed to the US scene now when hallyu is at its peak right now.

Yup..god damn BTS Hyung line needs more attention! It's always maknae line getting all the spotlight (cuz of baby armys only paying attention to maknae line..but true hardcore armys love them all).. I'm an hardcore Army..OT7 stan at that(even tho i hv bias)..& i adore hyung line, BTS rapline is superior👁️👄👁️ and joon is my bias wreaker.. I'm VMin biased (maknae line) but i hv huge respect for joon! Without Joon there would've not been existence of BTS.. every single member makes BTS that it is now..but it's high time we should appreciate joon

RM gets ignored and it's so widely accepted. Maybe because he doesn't have crazy solos throwing a fit everytime. But his music videos all have the least amount of views by an embarrassingly large margin. The fact that Persona is struggling to reach 100mill always makes me sick. No appreciation for RM just always about "God of destruction". It makes me sad.

@@jamkutie it all comes down to solo stans.. maknae line has biggest solo stans following, whereas true *Armys* support & love all members including joon..and having large no. Of solo stans following is bad, cuz they made fuzz out of everything, are toxic as hell and they make it competition about which member has more following & hv more achivements..i find hyung line biased armys to be most chill & mature..and problem is also baby armys..most baby armys only pay attention to maknae line..but i hv seen grown no. Of joon biased armys as well now..and in the end of the day, it's better to hv mature, understanding followers rather than toxic immature ones..and this is coming from an Army who is VMin biased (maknae line), & other 5 members are bias- wreakers..but joon is my ultimate bias wreaker (tho someone could mistake him for being my bias🤣)

Drunken Tiger and Yoon MiRae (aka Tanisha) are absolute legends. Tanisha's singing voice is also incredible and if you're interested, I'd recommend her solo song "lonely love" and the OST she sang for the Kdrama "Crash Landing on You". The repeating wordplay of "bukuro" or 부끄러워/부끄러 is calling out their haters that only talks mad shit but are unable to step up when the opportunity comes. It also has a double meaning of stage fright or being unable to perform/keep the flag up when it's show time. Thanks for reacting to this video.

Anthony, there is a big story about why they do not have views. In summary, you should remember RM was shunned by the underground rap scene. Yoon MI Rae also known as Tasha had it rough as a black Asian. They also started dating against her labels wishes. As much as an amazing rapper she is, she is an equally incredible singer that too this day is untouchable. They targeted her on and off camera. She became very timid to be on talk shows. You have to check out her other music. Will try to get you a list. Tiger JK was went to UCLA. He was the first rapper to come over to S.Korea with street rap. He was going to school and coming up when rappin was really strong in Cali in the 90s; Snoop Dog etc. He obviously also likes reggae. Unfortunately he was a drunk and he smoked weed and got caught. So that got him double shunned. To say you like him over there can make it look like you have his habits. Employers check your social media. He also left his label to marry Tasha. They are just some talented bad ass peeps. In 2011 or 2012 they had their own label going they had a lot of money rolling in and someone they trusted stole it. They became homeless until they made another hit. Buzzy stuck with them the entire time. They made a really good hit, but had to promote internationally for it to gain the popularity it deserved. I think they joined with another agency to get that off the ground. The MV was incredible too. They were invited to perform it at Cannes film festival and I think they got an award for the mv. SK changed their tune a bit and they would play a part in representing hip hop. Tiger JK removed Drunken from his name. He is sober now and has new popping artists and a new hit you have to see called Monster. They have a collab rap version you have to see as well because the tears when Tasha takes the mic.... She is a real queen. They have a son. As I was saying, it looks bad if you associate with them, all the negative hate RM was getting for leaving the underground rap scene. When Tiger JK embraced him, it shut up a lot of the rappers. It started with their first collab. RM continues to ask to be on any new record Tiger might have coming out. It sounds like something will be out soon again. By time JK united again with Tiger JK for another collab, this helped to boost their standing and sustained popularity. Their songs are not commercially promoted. They did in person gigs and sold cds at events I believe. The most they would do is show up on variety shows to mention their music. 100K+ views is a hit in SK for independent artists. I believe they got good radio play too. They have a strong international following. Come to think of it, Tiger JK now does all his tweets in English.

He is the GOAT in k-hiphop , RM calls him dad , thats how close they are. Their bond both tiger jk, yoomin rae's with RM is very sweet. Tiger jk said RM changed his opinion abt idol rappers.

Tiger JK has such an interesting history. It's fascinating to listen to. I recommend listening to his interview with Eric Nam on Dive Studio channeling you are curious. My favorite Tiger JK/RM collab EVER will forever remain TIMELESS. Legendary song to me. 🔥💜

This made me soooo happy. MFBTY are my all time favors Korean rappers. They are amazing at their craft and the most humble human being you will ever meet. This colab with RM and the other rappers is iconic to me.

In an American interview RM said on coming to America the name Rapmonster was a bit too much, hence the change to RM which he said could mean anything . It is pity they don't recommend more of RM'S two mixtapes( RM and Mono) and numerous collaborations. He also has a track Timeless with TigerJK.

The reason why the original song has so low views is coz the actual original video was deleted last year by the network channel it was on. So they reuploaded it. But even before it was deleted, the video did not have as many views as other BTS members collabs. So it is true that RM is very very very underrated even when all he puts out is GOLD.

Yes, RM just wants to use his initials. He went from being Rap Monster to RM. He stated that RM stands for " REAL ME", which is going along with "Love Yourself" as in BTS's " Love Yourself" theology and album.

There is a song that RM have with Tiger JK the two of them "Timeless" from 2018... Not my everyday style but fun to check out and for RM it was important. So Proud 😉 I like this song, it is so cool, I'm also always shocked that so many people don't know of it.... I was not into rap before I meet BTS. Now I listen every week rap line's solo songs and mixtapes... but there's still some collaborations that stay under my radar !! So thanks for reacting to this one, and allow me to discover it, the flow is insane ! Love it !

I honestly believe that RM has huge potential to blow up from his mix tapes, as do Agust D and J Hope, BUT that isn't their priority. The solo mix tapes might have one or two MVs yes, but the releases are free and they don't get promoted. Hence why there's an OT7 performance of Deachwita and Chicken Noodle Soup at the Soowoozoo concert. And all the rappers have charted with solos already. But RM has one song I always think could be a mainstream hit, "Do You". It just has something. English chorus, but just something about it seems to have that potential. There is an MV for it as well.

the song may be underrated, since there are so so many new armys who only check out the group discography not all solo stuff but RM is definitely not underrated himself from what I've seen. armys always praise his rapping skills & lyrics & there are various breakdown threads on his songs appreciating his artistry on twt. but the thing is this song came out in the years when bts was not a huge name & armys couldnt set as high goals for solo releases not promoted as title track or otherwise. another thing is that there are A LOT more solos (those who only stan 1 member- not called armys bc they're not) for maknae line especially so the army treats all bts members equally but its the solos that unbalance the numbers to have a pissing contest among themselves to show who's better. the solos aka akgaes (those who stan 1 member & also hate other members) only think of 1 member as superior. even agust d first album b-sides aren't known as widely as the title track agust d is which is the case for RM. Do You & Joke are more widely known than the other b-sides. j-hope released his mixtape in 2018 when bts was already somewhat of a big name so there were better results since many more armys joined but even then there are many unaware of many b-sides. RM's 2nd mixtape mono released in 2018 performed very well & he till date holds records for the first solo artist. mono is a healing album loved by all. so what im trying to say is, sometimes yt isnt the only measure of how loved or successful a member's solo works are if its not an official mv thats promoted. some dont have time on their hands to go back & check out all their stuff so they only go through the official albums. you gotta remember even bts & army started small. we weren't this great at pulling huge numbers back then.

(I can't believe, I wrote the same thing... I'm going to delete my post and copy it here.. because we are going the same way). I understand that many of those who entered with the most "" "catchy" "" songs of them, may not go for the harder rap side, they go for the more melodic with the vocal line, which is not bad either. I'm not saying that they don't listen to or don't know the works of the rap line but they may not be within their daily Spotify lists. My bias is the rap line so I can't be very objective but when mono was released it was very well received on its debut, there are no catchy songs on mono, there is no "daechwita" (who broke it) or a CNS, but it is a super loved album by many. It is also understandable that a song that makes the vocal line is better received (in terms of visits) because they are more bearable to sing and follow them in rhythm, they also enjoy the boys' vocal range more (it is a bit hasty because none of them released mixtapeto compare well). Although sometimes we ignore, but the appearance also has a lot to do and even the age of the boys, the maknae line are the youngest and therefore they also give the most jovial appearance and are closer to the beauty standard. I think this is so because the rap line were the first of the band and they entered when bts was still planning to debut as a hip hop group and not an idol group, they were chosen without having as a condition the characteristics of an average idol. A large "part of the fandom" (although I do not feel comfortable saying that they are part of the army) begin to follow someone because of their appearance. This is not just bts, we see in all groups, the most aesthetically striking is the most followed, it happens in K-pop and it happened in the American industry, I mean, this is not new. In conclusion, there are many factors that affect the views of a video ... in the numbers of reproduction in YT or Spotify. I don't think Namjoon, Hobi, and Yoongi are underestimated. Army loves and supports each member equally (those who don't, are solos or antis ... not armys). (English is not my first language. I read but I don't write very well, sorry)
