I need a slower tutorial on making the dots. Just can't seem to do them. Lovely ring. Thanks for the video.

I use zink plated steel. But some craftsmen even solder stainless steel. But it more difficult.

Thank you! It is not for cleaning. It is patina. Then I polished the ring with steel wool. But I didn't film the moment.

Thanks for the video!! Can I ask what temperature you keep your iron at? I am trying to find the sweet spot that keeps the metal melting smoothly without burning the tip of the iron. Also, how do you clean your peice after? I find I always have a sticky residue from the Flux that I'm not sure how to clean. Thanks in advance

Thank you for your comment:). I am not sure about the temperature. My iron is 100 watt, that's all what I know about it. I clean my peaces with some shampoo or dishwashing detergent. Before I sometimes used ultrasinic cleaner, but it was cheap and broke down soon. But there is no great difference with shampoos. Pieces are not sticky if you wash them thoroughly with a tooth brush.
