Exactly and I knew they would go with the more commercial photo choice of Lupita, the one that oddly enough takes ALL the focus OFF the jewelry. Predictable. The money people almost always make the wrong artistic choices.

Well, I don't understand it. Why should there be a need for uniformity? The pictures share a blue background. They have ladies dressed in black, they're all actresses. That's not uniform enough?

The problem with the pictures of them looking directly at you, is that you don't see the jewelry. Your focus is on the face of the person, not the object. The Lupita one was a good example. The one where is is looking away, makes you focus on the jewelry.

To the woman with bad hair and heavy eyeliner: You hired Grace Coddington to help you change your ad campaign and make it modern. She told you the photos cannot be contrived and yet you didn't listen to her "years of experience and knowledge" and went ahead with your choice. The result is exactly what Grace told you. The photo of Lupita looking at the camera is contrived and takes the viewer's attention away from Tiffany's Jewelry. I hope you learned your lesson and don't make the same mistake when you hire someone of that caliber to help you with your sales.

Tiffany is my overall favourite store in New York! When I lived in NYC I used to pass by it almost every day. Now when I go to New York I am only a visitor, but even after a hard day of work or shopping, nothing enriches my soul and spirit more than to just pass through Tiffany again and to take it all in! That alone warrants my re-visiting New York! Tiffany is simplicity + elegance. Just the way gifts are wrapped, blue box with white ribbon, says it all and is the store's true calling card! Tiffany: A real New York asset and tradition!

This is beautiful! As a professional woman myself, who also loves Tiffany pieces, I am proud you are moving the advertising forward (i.e. removing the man / romance) yet how wonderful it would have been to see the lead professional artistic directors wearing the pieces. Tiffany is not just for young girls but accomplished successful women too. I admire the two female directors and think they overlooked themselves as major icons worthy of the beautiful designs.

I completely agree. Also-- Tiffany is so expensive, but it's an expensive that would be really beautiful to see on a mature woman who's had an accomplished career. I think that more expensive pieces/wardrobes are rewards that come with age, and since the men are already removed from this campaign, adding that bit of wiser independence would be a great touch. ((I am a 25 year-old female and am just now realizing how so much of high fashion is centered on younger girls, when most of its clientele is adult women.)

Grace Coddington is phenomenal. I love how quick she is with Elle Fanning is striking in the photo, almost pioneering (love the diverse poses that Elle gave the directors to select from). Natalie Westling is so simply enchanting (it's a slight playful yet graceful and undying stare of elegance). Lupita's photo looking away really did have a moment where we all like to take for ourselves. I wish Christy's photo was similar to her headshot, not feeling the same "moment-esque" vibe. I love that these photos focus on women. I never did understand why men were paired with the women to almost show that women required support. I love that these four photos are close ups, almost still in time.

I loved watching this spot. After seeing "September Issue" you come to realize the pure genius of Ms.Codddington.The shot with the model and videographer jumping is classic. How she stuck by her guns not to have the gut of the videographer photoshopped says it.I was glad to see the included Cindy Turlington. The older she gets the more beautiful she becomes. All that said my one issue is that was no mention of the photographer responsible for these shots.Yes he is mentioned at the beginning with the Kate Moss pics. The photographer is the same,David Sims. One must give him his due as this was the initial impetus that sparked Ms.Coddington's creativity. All in all I loved this behind-the -scenes offering.Well done.

I have absolutely zero knowledge of such things, but, when I come across them I find I learn more in 15 minutes than I expected. It's more than the technicality, it's human. Thank You

Amazing work..have to agree with some comments if you employ someone of Grace Coddington experience why would you overrule her? That's why you wanted her in the 1st place because of her vision. Great documentary...great work well done. I also agree that she should of been the British Vogue editor in chief.

I think a role like that would have made her deeply unhappy. The functions are just so different and as an EIC, business and politics overtake everything you do.
