Must show interracial; must include same sex. Must be politically correct.

Yes, because why would anyone show off diversity in the world's most international city? New York City has a population of 8.5 million and the gets more than 54 million visitors every year-if you look really closely, you might see some gay or interracial couples. If you're lucky, you might even find an interracial same-sex couple. Beyond the fact that the models and actors are all extremely beautiful with excessive amounts of money (some of the pieces shown are one-off Tiffany designs that cost more than a lot of Americans will earn in a decade), there's nothing political here.

It's not that diverse if I have to "look really closely" to see some gay or interracial couples, or to be lucky to find an interracial same-sex couple. if that's the case, which you admit to, then singling these couples out (despite the low probability of finding such couples), is in fact motivated by political correctness.

That was sarcasm, sweetie. According to the US Census Bureau, a quarter (25%) of New York City's population is black. Less than half (44%) is white. Asian Americans make up 12%, and Hispanics & Latinos make up 27% of the city's population. Queens is the United States' most diverse county. More than 800 languages can be found in New York. NYC has the world's biggest LGBTQ community: at the last count (in 2005), the greater New York Metropolitan Area had almost 570,000 GLB, and over 25,000 transgender residents. Doing the math, basically one out of every seven NYC residents identifies as LGBTQ. And according to these demographics of New York, this ad actually features more white folk than it ought to. While we're at it: showing diversity is not political correctness. It's common decency.

That’s no being politically correct. Do you even know what that word means? This commercial is representative. Apologies for the world no longer reflecting backwards 1950s-loving ppl like yourself; you must be so distraught!
