Tiffany looked at Yujin in the same way that all Girls’ Generation members look at Red Velvet! It’s so nice to see how they don’t look down on the third and fourth generation female idols. Instead, they’re always so happy to see what they’re doing and want to support them in their endeavors! 💕

The way she answered that question about why she's doing a musical, is so classy but girl boss moment. Really shut that reporter down. The way knetz are targeting her about the clothes that she's wearing and that she shouldn't dress like that is so annoying. Women empowerment is about being able dress, and act however you want without being put down or be called slutty and make them lose their self-worth. Females should be able to do what they want and how they dress. They shouldn't be called out like that, it's so discouraging to others and make them feel bad about themselves.

  • @inkdelete

I love how she answered it as well; especially since that idols are considered at the bottom of the food chain in the Korean entertainment industry. There's no shame in being one or the other, or both; like she said, they're all musicians doing music together, the genres are just different.

Yess i agree with you they shouldnt question about how they dress linking that with women empowerment...... And also u said women empowerment is that we can wear any dress and act how we want but that is not women empowerment 😭 but its not about dress at all, its about how we excel in all fields and show that we are not weak and need equal respect. Nowadays few gals think that being sassy is women empowerment 🥲

But it is not enough to stop her doing things that she like, wearing dresses that she loves, having styles as she wants. People need to stop minding others business. You're just jealous of her because you can't wear those kind of dresses because you'll be judged by your own society, and I think that is toxic af.

Honestly, as someone who has watched SNSD grow since 2008, Tiffany has been the most empowering to me. She started her career so innocent and sweet walking around with her little eye smile and giggly personality. But she was shy and that meant a lot of knetz kicked her around. “Her face is so big” “Americans shouldn’t be in Korea” “She can’t dance” Whatever they could criticize her for, they would criticize her for. Though she grew as a person out of the spotlight, you could tell being in Korea under the constant scrutiny of knetz was hard for her. When her scandal happened back in 2017, I was actually happy in a way. Not because she was receiving hate, but because I think it solidified for her that it was time to venture out and grow. Her choosing not to renew her contract was not a surprise at all. She was stifled under SM. I was so happy when she chose to come back to America. Not only did she do work with some talented people, but she really got to find out what it felt like to speak her mind. She could curse. She could call out her haters. She could just be Tiffany. Now that she has chosen to go back to Korea, it is no surprise that she refuses to cave to knetz again. And in a way that worked because now she is too much for them to handle. She does things her way and doesn’t care what you think. We love Tiffany.

She’s been my role model ever since I was 12-13 years old and I love her to death! We grew up together and she’s such an inspiring woman and tbh Knetz sometimes deserve the treatment Tiffany gives! She’s still the sweetest sunshine on this planet

When I first watched the show of tiffany in the revealing clothes talking about women empowerment, i found it very interesting because it opened up my mind about the different ways women can empower themselves. It does not have to look a certain way. That lady sitting over there in revealing outfit has the aura of empowerment and I don't doubt that at all. And she also looks good. Those netizens typing on their keyboard shitting on others, that's not empowerment, so obviously they wouldn't know what it is.

I love seeing Tiffany being more outspoken than usual, which was already more than a lot of kpop idols to begin with. I loved that interview where she talked about how she wants to stand up more for LGBT rights and female empowerment and to open up that conversation because she felt she couldn’t do it before. And seeing her stand up for herself as well makes me so happy, its a shame that knetz still act in such a way over such trivial things. I got to see her on her magnetic moon tour and she’s just so genuine and definitely loves her fans and loves being open, so I’m glad that now that she’s back in SK that she can be more expressive and more herself. I hope that more idols follow her and her example.

Also really like how she stood up to that dude who asked her a question about the musical. In SK, idols are looked down at ALOT in the industry, and idol turned actors usually get shit like that so I’m happy that she did that

I think it's very interesting how Tiffany is such a doll face and very cute/sweet looking but has very strong unbothered queen mentality and she's best friends with Jessi who has very strong/tough girl image but actually is very soft/mellow on the inside. Myb they're BFF bcs they complete each other 🥹❤

I actually got angry at the part where people on the internet were essentially criticizing and attacking Tiffany for wearing a short dress and talking about woman empowerment. A lot of people have already said it, but I think it's worth reiterating that Woman Empowerment isn't about wearing pants suits and having a stern look or feel, as some seem to automatically picture; It's partially about being able to act, say, and wear what and how you want without fear of being judged or criticized for it because it doesn't match the "traditional womanly values" a society may have imposed on a gender for ages. We're all just humans at the end of the day, so just *be you*
