What i love about Tifa is not just her beauty, but also her personality; She's not arrogant, she's not selfish, she cares for everyone around her, especially Cloud. She uses her strength and skills to fight both alongside them and for them.

Tifa is so iconic. Her relationship with Aerith is precious. You don't see two women getting along so well while still being rivals much

Yup. She's the original one with exceptionally big milkers. Lara Croft pales in comparison to Tifas incredibly, big, warm, soft and yet strong... heart. Yes, she really is a pure diamond in disguise. She even consciously hides her own greatness to not make others around her feel bad about themself. Tifa is the real sigma grindset woman.

Missed Opportunity to name this video “Tifa Lockhart is Waifu MATERIA” I’ll see myself out.

Tifa is clearly the best waifu from FF7, even from simple process of elimination (quite literally in a few cases ;) Plus even if Tifa was meant to convey a more "hot" appeal compared to Aerith more "pretty" focus, I still feel as though Tifa is just way prettier. Not to mention she has some of my favorite Limit Breaks as well as being THE person to know exactly what Cloud is going through and has stuck with him since childhood to help him get over all of his trauma.

She's *Cloud's canon waifu. Yes, you can waifu the amusement park clerk if need be. The bloody and totally not a waste of time Tifa/Aerith wars are a matter of laws vs. expression. Sorry that this just internet comment as I don't have the sources bookmarked, but in an interview the lead writer of FF7 said he based Cloud and Tifa off of him and his wife, and that "They were designed to be ideal counterparts, with Tifa having everything Cloud found attractive." The love triangle was also intentional, but that "Aerith was a crush, Tifa is a pursuit." The directors wanted things a little vague for wider appeal, but in OG FF7 and future FF titles, there are hints that Cloud still focuses on Tifa. Again, -totally- not a waste of time arguing and getting into details about. It's a matter of are you someone who sides with the author or what you interpret?

@@daeith1233 lmfao, still, Cloud's real persona didn't love Aerith. He never did. He shared ZERO romantic feelings for her in the end. Only guilt when letting her die and that's why he was distant to Tifa and kids. Plus geostigma,plus he wasn't used to live a peaceful, happy life so he thought he didn't deserve it and was afraid of losing it all. Tifa on the other hand had always shared mutual feelings with Cloud..and Cloud said in CoT how he was happy having Tifa by his side. So wtf.. And I wouldn't necessarily consider them (C&A) as a happy couple or happier. Maybe a few dates, but nothing long-termed like with Tifa and that's more from Aerith's side than Cloud's. Since Aerith is just more flirty and teasing. Plus I don't see (especially now seeing the remake) Cloud taking it easily if Tifa had another man. It would ache and bother him big time.

She goes to unspeakable lengths and endures incredible pressure and pain in order to support the man that she loves and everyone else around them in the exact way that they need. Tifa is incredibly strong, not just physical, but much more emotionally. She is a beacon of light for everyone else to rely on. She's upholding positivity in the face of absolute terror and darkness. She always hides her true feelings in order to not drag anyone else around her down, but sometimes, she lets it shine through. I'm almost 31 now. I was strong enough to survive on my own but the damage is already done and will never fully heal. Well, Nomura (if I remember right) has said that he doesn't have any doubt that they end up together and seriously, why WOULDN'T they? Don't mention Aerith, don't mention Aerith? They live together and share those mutual romantic feelings. They are human (even Cloud) and YOUNG after all 😂 so why ppl are so butthurt about it. It's kinda funny to think that they would have a platonic relationship for the rest of their lives. That doesn't happen in the game. But no matter how some ppl live in denial, they confessed their feelings towards each other so it's kinda utterly bullshit to leave it ignored. Cloud considers Tifa as his family anyways and he sees her in a different light after Sephiroth-battle. Not just as a supporter, but a lot more deeper.

why tifa is integral for cloud's character ? conflict in ff7 is really portrayed in a legendary way and most characters stand out on their own, however what makes the conflict more entertaining is how relationships can be involved in these types of conflict and how it can affect them one important part is cloud and sephiroth, the hero and vilian always portray the good and evil, however, what makes their conflict amazing is how the two affected each other sephiroth manifested in evil, but it was a tragic evil, one where he was shocked by a realization he couldn't handle, hojo being his father the crazy scientist didn't waste any moment to make his son a monster before he was even born, and the fact that sephiroth was robbed from his mother lucrecia is certainly one of the aspects that made him lost, and resulted in the demon we all know cloud on the other hand was pure heart, though unable to express himself, he always had a goal, he wanted to be a solider so he can be like his hero, make his crush notice him, and make everyone respect him, but just like sephiroth, he was struck by many facts, he couldn't join soldier, his hero killed his mom and almost killed his crush, destroyed his village and later on he lost his best friend zack in every hero and villein conflict the hero triumph, but the journey is what make the fight special, and before cloud can beat his eternal enemy, just like every hero he has to be a pure hero what made ff7 hero portrayel legendary is that to become a pure hero is to learn how to be yourself, accepting you flaws and work on being better, these themes were essential for cloud to beat sephiroth, and for that he needed tifa, the heroin of his struggles and his internal conflict without a doubt cloud becoming himself again was an integral part for sephiroth defeat, it's something that tifa was the hero for cloud in which she helped him immensely to regain himself, accept himself and his memories, and learn of his secret wish, the tinder memories that revealed everything, the moment where we learned how fragile cloud was all this time and with that, he can overcome his darkness, sephiroth, and be at peace suffice to say tifa was not the only reason why he became real again, aerith, zack and the rest of his friends helped him to be in more ease and to accept himself at the time of the og and in AC again, and for those reason, this conflict became the legendary saga we all know and love

I won't lie, i never cared much about Tifa until i've played the Remake. Square Enix did a 110% job at adding extra depth to the characters and making them far more likeable than before. I'm still more of an Aranea guy, but i'd say Tifa is a very close second
