Thanks for the tier list, really enjoyed it. This was the first year I watched every children of the corn film and they look cheap but they're not awful and it's fun playing spot the celeb - charlize thereon, naomi watts, Eva mendes, Michael ironside. The terrifier films are possibly the only things gorier than saw but if you take the kills out there's a great 80s aesthetic and brilliant synth music. The later hellraisers again look cheap but credit to doug bradley, he never dials it in and his limited scenes always have gravitas and presence, like tobin bell.

Terrifier are films I wish I could share in the enjoyment of but they're not for me. I will try the Hellraiser films at some point. Maybe not Children of the Corn. Glad you enjoyed them though.

Don't have time to watch this today but can't wait to watch tomorrow! I love long videos too.

I had no idea Scream and Ghostface were so hated. I always thought people liked them.

You need to get on Hellraiser, the first four range from brilliant to mid. Goes off a bit of a cliff after that but does still have a few bright spots.

Can you do a in depth analysis 🧐 on the movie “the thing” by John carpenter. I would be really interested in your final verdict. Also I wana see what the ending meant to you.

I *loved* the new clown in It Chapter 1. The shapeshifting, the dancing scene, I was having such a fun time. But funny enough, I only ever learned the Ghost Faced Killer’s name last year, and only ever saw the parodied version in the Scary Movie comedies.

You really need to watch the Terrifier and Collector films. 👍

Also, Perkins directed part 3, not 4.

I don’t know what to say. It’s fascinating to see how younger horror movie fans think. All my horror idols down the list and the newer guys at the top. I guess it happens with all genres. What was funny to one generation is humourless to the next. What’s scary to older people is old-hat to younger types. I guess that makes me old. Any list that puts Scream and Saw above Texas Chainsaw and Phantasm is crazy to me

I would argue about the Character of John Kramer (not the whole SAW franchise), he is an Icon, albeit on a lower tier compared to Jason, Freddy, Pinhead, Leatherface, Hannibal and The Tall Man (Phantasm). But yes, we can all agree that Ghostface is a joke with no depth.

Ghostface as iconic, definitely can tell you're a millennial

"Iconic" meaning in looks? Or in actions/depth of character? If it's just looks, then all those ghostface masks at Spirit Halloween count for something. If not...

Naaaah, I understand that this is >YOUR There's no world where Ghostface is above Freddy, Jason, Hannibal, Pennywise (both versions), and Leatherface, you could even argue that Chucky is more of a Horror Icon than Ghostface, and no shot you put Pearl on the same tier as them. When you make a tierlist on "HORROR ICONS" you should respect the legacy and name of those characters.

Honestly most of your videos I’ve seen are pretty good and objective. This on the other hand is self serving and has very little objectivity. This really is going to make people question your future ratings and suggestions. Putting ghost face above Freddy and Jason and even pennywise is just wrong. Really? Screams Ghostface Iconic? I would say it's one of the weakest killers ever. Billy and Stu were little whiny teenagers. And the rest are so forgettable that I couldn't name any of the other killers. That's another knock on Ghostface since it's just a bunch of nonsense different people with no motive to become a pyscho killer. But the fact that Ghostface isn't even the same killer makes it completely boring and non iconic.

The scary thing about Ghostface is that it could be absolutely anyone in your life or that’s close to you and it will for the most part be not just one but multiple people, which again imo is pretty scary. Plus it’s one of the most iconic looking Horror Costumes ever. Also I always saw Ghostface as his own character prior to the reveal even though it’s always different people. Always the same mannerisms, same boots, same knife, voice changer, etc. it’s almost like before they’re revealed it is the same character. I feel like that’s the satire of it too. Just the legacy of Ghostface is enough to make him iconic. The whole movie within a movie aspect of it. Definitely iconic IMO

I get that Scream isn’t for everyone but if you flat out deny the impact scream had on the horror movie scene you are just biased. Scream is one of the most well known horror movies of all time, and Ghostface is one of the most popular Halloween costumes in horror movie history. It absolutely deserves iconic and it’s not a debate. Every horror fan knows that

There are those of us looking forward to maxxxine that think mia goths pearl isn't just one of the greatest creations in modern horror but one of the best performances ever. If there were horror Oscars, she would surely have been nominated. I can appreciate you're clearly not a fan, but some of us are. If everyone hated x and pearl they wouldn't be making maxxxine.
