Anyone looking to buy this, just wait a month for the prices to get back to 180.00. The premium type sets are very hard to re-sell after a while as there a lot of them on the market. Sellers will eventually attempt to dump the market at MSRP prices and then a little below MSRP prices to reduce inventory.

Mine arrives in the mail today! I’m so hyped!

I may not be a chronojet main but I have to give credit to Bushiroad for a job well done on this stride deck set. Now release my boy Harri and my waifu Nightrose Stride Deck set Bushiroad so I can play rummy labyrinth in D-Standard plz along with my waifus in Brandt Gate aka Purelight Eva and Arkhite!!!!

Thanks for the review man! Edit: just gonna sum up my comment by saying prices for this set are disgusting, and prices need to be worked on across the board in standard. I absolutely love that it comes with a mat and stuff, but altogether the cost shouldn't exceed 60 or 65. Meanwhile the premium set is 180 minimum. Honestly, unless they start filling these sets with DSR versions of every card, I dont see $180 of value personally.

The regular set was like 45$ or 50$ on 50cards? And the premium one was a little more but nowhere near 500. He’s got the Messiah deckset up for 49.99$ currently as well. MSRP is nowhere near the prices you’re describing. This is pure secondary market scalping, that isn’t completely in Bushiroad’s control.

Prices on google are disgusting! average market price for the set right now is 325$ Listed minimum is 180 and the highest is 500 These arent made up prices, these are the only prices I was able to find. If cheaper prices exist they are doing a fantastic job of hiding those websites because the cheapest I found was 50 for the REGULAR not the premium. That all being said, this is a product meant to be enjoyed for nostalgia, so who cares what the cost is as long as you love it!

The only reason that would be considered good pricing is if you compare it to the secondary market. Def wont be buying the sets unless the prices for regular and premium were halved.

My premium deck set was pre-ordered in late November, sadly I was unable to get from 50 cards because he's one of the best people to buy from because he was sold out so I don't have mine yet but I just can't wait to get it.

Im curious to see how the overdress community handles this, my lgs vanguard group I started decided that all premium mechanics will stay premium, not allowed in overdress. Curious to see what others will do, whether theyll play it against their D format stuff or what. Edit: for those who see this without context, me and a few other players have a small group that just started so they are still tryna grasp all the different rules and formats, have a great day!

The deck is reallyyyyyy strong and is basically "pay 75-180$ to win most matchups" On top of that, it's not a new deck by any stretch lmao, it's basically just a product to see how many suckers will buy the same cards twice, while also trying to push premium players towards standard, so it's hard to blame new players for not wanting to muddy the waters. Personally, I'd like to see premium deck sets for current decks that are from D era, that would definitely grab peoples attention.

​​@@steambud1013 I bought the deck and I hate to say it but I'm already becoming less interested in vanguard because of how dominant it is compared to my other decks it just bums me out that I had like 7 solid decks and now they basically all suck and I have to play this one which is honestly very linear and boring so I guess I would have to side with your shop lol

I put the shiny license in my deck too haha

If you want to remove that dust, just use tape. A long piece of clear tape will grap onto the dust but not stick to the acrylic. I do this lot when installing screen protectors.

I haven’t touched Vanguard in a while. Don’t know if I could jump in now and learn all the mechanics

It took me almost a week of youtube videos and several booster box mistakes before I learned the difference in formats and cards and rules etc etc. You could definitely do it but between the insane prices and horrific distributions, I'd be doing you a disservice to tell you to reinvest yourself in it. I'd say, grab 2 overdress start decks on amazon, theyll cost around 7$ each and they are def playable and upgradable. Otherwise the format is extremely expensive rn, so I'd hold off on coming back to VG.

Probably issues with it damaging in shipment. I'm just glad that we received everything just like the Japanese version. Very excited for the next one too.

If you are on g3 at the beginning of the turn or both players are g3, you can discard cards that add up to g3 or greater and stride a g4 from your g zone. This all happens during the stride step that happens after the ride phase

Funny he thought you oponent would think you are playing chronojet if you use the toploaders, they would not be suspicious at all if they see an 8 card GZone Lol
