While I can see the appeal of the level, for me it is the color combination of blue and yellow that is used through out the level, it just don’t really sit with me too well Also I feel like there is an overemphasis on the foreground compared to the background making the background feel empty

Its honestly just the beach part, and I agree. The beginning and the sunset part are really well done, I think its the lazy background and some block design choices during the beach part that turns people off to this level

I like the original design but there’s nothing wrong with it being redecorated by cherry team, the original will still probably be more recognised.

I really love botting levels because you see so many details that you wouldn't otherwise see. (Like the differently styled spikes around the level)

No, he still needs to improve his deco style since he's copying and pasting one deco pattern for entire level (kinda exaggerating, but you still understand my idea) and this block design either empty or random and looks kinda bad. But due to tidal wave being rated I doubt he will improve

@@ayeronical after that first "tidal wave" text drop, you would expect a completely different thing. shakes would have also complemented the drop well. instead, he implements the same color scheme and doesn't make it complement the song. i would have liked that sandy beach theme in the other area to be in the first drop, and switching back to the blue theme once the drop has passed. the block design is really weird as well, if you pause it at any point, it becomes clear that the block design had minimal effort put into it. the level definitely needs a lot of work: add more objects and effects like shakes that complement the song, add more decoration such as waves that fit the theme of the level, make the background less static, and use more variation on theming

It still takes skill to bot a level

No. Gradient those two colors (Yellow and Cyan) and you got yourself a HORRIBLE theme. The two colors are NOT supposed to be Gradient into each other; they are complimentary, where they look nice next to each other but not gradient into each other. Quite a cool level. It's not all over your face, which I enjoy. Not bad, but not really "great" in terms of gameplay. It is now ranked first, thus there's a reason why the gameplay isn't that great, but I'm getting off-topic. The décor is quite energizing. These days, people's thoughts are largely consumed with the modern art movement. I appreciate that the decoration serves as a reminder that not everyone needs to adopt a contemporary style for something to be well done. I give this level a strong eight out of ten.
