We need a Ticket to Ride: Houston where there's a single track that's 2 trains long

We need a modern Ticket to Ride Europe, where you have to roll a die 🎲 when connecting through Germany. On 1-4 you can place your train cars. On 5 and 6, you pass the turn to the next player.

What's the MSRP for the mini TtR games these days? I've seen the last few anywhere from $25 to $30, which is absolutely not worth it. Especially considering I got New York on sale (not clearance) for $9 when it came out.

I really like TtR New York best out of the cities line. It has the same feel of the larger version, but it does has a nice new scoring bonus that is easy to understand.

I have London and New York, simply because I picked them up cheap, the game is simple and the 15 minute play time is good for playing with my 6 year old.

Appreciate the comparison to the other city versions. I have london and san francisco, and not interested in buying another unless the gameplay twist is significant. Seems as if berlin version qualifies as significantly different and improved so i may pick that one up

For me the Ticket to Ride games have rapidly entered the EA Sports territory: Add the tiniest new mechanic, slap a different coat of paint and release the same game over and over and over again. More power to you if you enjoy all these TTR games, but for me I used to wait with bated breath when a new one would be coming out. Now, it's met with a big "Meh" and I barely look at it. The franchise needs a big rest for me to be interested in it again.

I personally prefer the map packs for the bigger ones, as the twists in those ones are typically much more important and have a heavier impact on gameplay.

yep, i wish they continued the double sided map and applied mechanics from legacy to newer version

I literally don’t understand why there are so many Ticket to Ride games. Buy one and you are good

The same reason as many Monopoly games.

People do get a kick out of them when it is the city they are from -- or, to a lesser extent, a city they have been to. Also practically easier to introduce the game to children when the children know the landmarks. At the end of the day, there are so many people who have not bought one yet.

TTR Paris: who cares? TTR has become a cash cow.
