jenitia handy Chocolate City is being shown in only 24 Theaters Nationwide, grossing a little over 179,000, just pitiful. On the flip side, Magic Mike was in more than 3,000 Theaters Nationwide, not counting the Theaters it was shown in Internationally, grossing over 167, 200,000. dollars. What is up with this country hating black and brown skin. When it comes to tanning it's no problem... I saw this movie and I enjoyed it. Magic Mike men should take a step back and let Chocolate City men teach them how it's done the right way.

Magic Mike XXL doesn't come out until the first of next month. There was no promotion for this low budget movie. This premiered on BET on Wednesday. If they had done some promoting it would've done a lot better. Hell even Channing Tatum offered to endorse the movie for free according to HuffPost & AP, but they turned him down. So no shade to Chocolate City, but they hurt themselves by not promoting or FREE endorsements. So this was a straight-to-dvd kind of movie!

tabunka2800 THATS JACKED UP...cuz all my black friends saying MM2 is better and they havent even seen it yet! They are clowning CC becuz of the production and a lot of my firends didnt even know it was showing!! WTF is going on wth black film marketing? The night I saw it there was a fair amount of shows and we had a ball at the theater. We enjoyed it so where was the promotion like MM2? I feel they blackballed CC and blocked its promo so that MM2 can get the $$$
