A very beautiful song that almost all Tibetans inside and outside knows about. When the young boy was singing it, it brought tears to my ears. I love my people and its encouraging to see real Tibetan music flourishing still in Tibet. Songs of meaning, which touches hearts of millions of Tibetans. We long to see Agu Pema in Tibet. Long Live H.H the 14th Dalai Lama!

To all Tibetans and supporters: Sorry to interfere on this beautiful song. Please watch Namkha song on utube video to support him. He is right now in prison for singing song on Tibetan Culture, basic freedom or human rights and so on. Tibetan singers in Tibet can't sing freely. Al their song or the albums are censored. EVen thought they seem happy when singing but sings in duress or in fear. Help support Namkha. Bravo Namkha. We Tibetans outside Tibet thank you for your bravory.

I like the way the Amdo-wa, men as well as women, wear their chupa. They carry it so well!. It is understated, but infinitely graceful!! And I like the quite dignity and humulity of Palgon....the tenderness with which he encourages the buchung in red shirt to sing or to go to the front...with a quite smile and a slight nod of his head. Superb! Palgon and the amdo singers...please continue churning out more of your beautiful songs.

Interesting song, I am from tiznit and the the rhythm looks like the amazigh one (ahwash), it might be that part of the origin of the berber people might be from Tibet. In fact, we have a singer under the name of tashinweet, because she looks asian.

I respect ur stance no matter whatever it is. I truely wish u could return and live happyly on ur land. i am a han just represent myself, i grow up in amdo, tibetan culture is in my blood too. if u hate han, i understand why so i wont fight back. what i dont like is those ppl who just shout slogans just for feeling good but actually doesnt really care, because they r risk others blood. my humble opinion, what need now is our wisdom not emotion, no matter how hard it is.

that ur opinion. I have no opinion on it. i ll try to get more information and penetrate more inside T-Buddhism, maybe i could do better. however, a Catholic's point of view to the Pope is definitely never the same to those non-Catholic. i dont have too much negative view on him actually. yet i dont think he should be considered as perfect bcuz he is the incarnation of Avalokiteshvara. about other history facts, that all have great opportunity to be distorted.

1951 the treaty between central gov and gasha gov signed. 1951 to 1958 the gasha gov refused to do any tiny reform on serfdom. one of the tiny example incident lead to 1958, was, when central gov try to pay wage to a 'serf ', local 'noble' offensed, then executed the serf. this serf was grandpa of one of my tibetan middle school classmate. u can clearly see abomination when he talk about miserable slave life his elder generation has been through. so only u have tragedy family history?

not ALL Tibetan r religious, though i don't 100% agree with the current policy. however things r not so simple as u conceive, u might be a little bit younger for having a total understanding. my name is appropriated from my original name. as an offing of Tibetan u should stand on the land n smell the life n culture there at least once. that is my suggestion, i was not arguing with u about any other issues, u can hold whatever opinion u r holding. peace.

'must be' means probably. those who "raise up" and fled away mostly came from 5% upper class, sadly they were sold by Apei right after the thing happened. do u kno who this guy is? of course u dont know, u only know family folklore. make it clear, loads of tragic family history was made by tibetan upper class, other than because of war, if ur reading and understanding ability is so low. and those ppl who dont know about themselvs are far more pathetic. and i was talking about my friend,
