visited Ali region of Tibet last year. fell in love with the scenery, Tibetan people and their unique culture. have to admit the communist government has done a lot of good things, far more than just taking out forced labour and slavery. you can feel people are living very decent life.of course there is always the sensitivity whenever politics is brought up and discussed. also went to Everest base camp and spent time in the national park. incredible preservation works done. ecologically in much better shape than the other side of the Himalayas. throughout my trip, hardly saw any heavy trucks on road taking out timber or minerals mined. there was report last week about china turning whole tibet and qinghai into a huge national park. that would be a wonderful thing. maybe president Xi wants to leave a legacy.

Please, if I may ask, which month did you travel? God willing, one day, wish to make this trip to the Holy Mountain. Kind regards.

Yes such surreal places on Earth. The mountainous interior, Shangri La, Himalayan regions are majestic places. Truly majestic. There's much to see in Asia alone. Asia is amazing.

I can`t stand some people`s arrongance and ignorance anymore, who make you represent tibetan , I am tibetan 100%, living in tibet whole my life, and I love my country china, and who told you there is no humanright, everyone is constantly tortured and killed, typical western propoganda. True, there is very few selfmolation, but I think those people were brainwashed by someone else I don`t wanna mention. Please before talk first come to tibet and come to lhasa, look and research for yourself. Most of tibetan have a much better life standard than average han chinese people, the average salary in tibet is 6000yuan per month, me self graduate from college last year , the first year of wrok I have 5000 yuan per month, which means the GDP per capita in tibet is 11000dollars per year, meanwhile the average chinese gdp is8000dollars, maybe this is very few to you western , but the gdp of tibet is nearly 7 times higher than india(1617$) , and 15 times higher than the neple(751$), the data is from the list of gdp per capita for countries from the IMF, last month I bought a car which took me about 30000$, and I don`t need loan, my parents can support me, and my family`s economic level is average in tibet. On the contrary, tibetan who live in india and neple don`t have any preferential policies from government, and have a very difficult life. In tibet if you don`t try to overthrow the government , then basically you can do everything what you wanna do except for crime.So you western please don`t worry about tibetan, we live in very happy life, please worry the tibetan in india, in my view, they have a very difficult life, and the indian governmet basically abandon them, I hope they can return our homeland as soon as possible. Awdz123 A I realized you want to prove what is positve evaluation in Tibet,including the economic development,because I live in Taiwan,I'm Taiwanese,and the economic progress in Tiebet is ture I think,though I haven't been to Tibet,and maybe not very understand like you,you're local people,but I want to provide the different views to you. so the first thing I want to tell you, why the most of Taiwan people don't like China,the reason is in China,you don't have absolute freedom and humanright ,we have a free press the ranking 45th in the world in Taiwan in this year,and China is 176th,even so in Taiwan I think a free press doesn't mean all reporting is ture and accurate,so that's why I didn't believe everything reported or the comments about Tibet by Beijing official statement,would rather believe western media or Central Tibetan Administration. the second thing is to sacrifice Tibetan religious culture and language in exchange for economic development,is the unchanged policy by Beijing government,so you know the Dalai escaped Tibet and exile in 1959,the ture is protect Tibet's religious culture and language,so he came to India,in first,built many school and promote education,not like Beijing government said,he betray the China or mother country,and the key point is How do you interpret it when the Tibetan celebrates Tibetan Uprising Day every year,especially in Lhasa in 10th in Mar. in 2008. the last thing is I read many books about Tibet's history,includes exiled Chinese writer,he's name is yuan hongbing, the book is statement in how was the 10th Penchen Lama died? the faked like Beijing official statement he's too tired results in heart disease,and the truth is he is privately killed by Beijing goverment,and the 11th Penchen Lama assigned in Tibet is fake,too,the ture 11th Penchen is Dalai siad,and where's he? you tell me,killed by China,too? and another author is the research in Tibet Historian and Tibetan expert,her name is Li Jianglin,I suggest you should read her book,the book headline is ’’Tibet in Agony: Lhasa 1959’’,it's so pity that you don't buy or lend this book or any those books comments on the issue of Tibet,Beijing goverment doesn't like; the fact is ｅxcept for areas outside of China or chinese,the Dalai Lama is highly respected by everyone,not like Chinese goverment likes brainwashed by chinese and don't want to face the truth until today.

MrKagyal Seriously, we are in 21th century now. People shouldn't worship a human being who claimed himself as a God or deity of something. You are definitely right. Tibetan should have religion freedom to free themselves from such a stupidity. The whole world need to help tibetan stop putting a 8-year-old child on the temple, making him a living God for them to worship and pray for a better next life. And that's true religion freedom people should center on. No more living Gods, living Buddhas. Why do you want to re-install living Gods for tibetan to worship? Why do you want tibetan to take children from their parents, put children on the temple, and make them living Gods?? Why do you want tibetan to worship children? Does it seem right to you? I wonder what's wrong with you?!! Where's the human right of those children?? Where is the religion freedom of those children?? Where??!!
