Yess, all the collection from Empress Eugenie of the French is just ✨immaculate✨. Also yes, the Louvre is quite a maze, there are elevators, and tunnels, like that is just incredible.

@@m.payton5045 There is a second tiara referred as the duchesse d'Angoulême tiara(same name as the green one in this video) but this one with 3 ranks of rubies and even more diamonds, could it be the one you are thinking of?

I could spend days there looking at all the displays. Could you imagine living close by and that's you treat once a week? Cleaning or restoration would be a personally rewarding job. I know someone that was commissioned to work on Notre Dame after the fire. They are based in Italy working on paintings and ceilings. What a gift.

💎 I also went to the Louvre this September, can't believe I missed you Brittany. I love that they displayed a good amount of the French crown jewels in the Louvre in a way where you can see the back so you can actually see how they're constructed. It's an absolute goldmine for goldsmiths like myself to learn from. 💎 I will always have a soft spot for Queen Victoria's sapphire and diamond coronet. It's just such a classic and elegant piece + the variety of ways it can be worn (bandeau, tiara & coronet) is just brilliant engineering and craftsmanship. Also lots of love to you Brittany and keep up the good work, you're doing amazing! ❤

💎 Empress Eugenie's Pearl tiara is my favorite. But, I have to admit that I find all the French tiaras in this collection superior to the British and other Royal families' tiaras that I've seen. These are just so colorful and creatively designed, each a work of art.

That was Duchess Sophie's wedding tiara. She wore one of the Queen's aquamarine tiaras with just one big aquamarine in the middle one time.The large aquamarine tiara of the Queens, that has a matching necklace and bracelet, the gemstones came from Brazil. They are all so lovely.

My favorite tiara is the Braganza tiara that Queen Silvia from Sweden wears. I love the shape of it and how the diamonds are set. It looks more 3D and the designs pop out more than just a "flat" tiara. So gorgeous and the placement of the jewels glisten in the light!

What a fun video! It’s so hard for me to pick a favorite tiara. I’ve been shopping for a royal replica tiara for my wedding and I just can’t make up my mind! The GOGBAI tiara is iconic and the lovers knot is lovely with pearls. 💎👑

💎 I love colored gemstones and some of my favorites are the blues - especially sapphires and aquamarines. (I know sapphires come in many colors and with stars, too.) it’s hard to resist naming one of them as my favorite, and as jewelry I think I’d probably choose one of them. I’m a particular fan if the Danish tiaras (although they have enough to choose from). The Alexandrine Diamond Drop Tiara, though, is stunning and I also like Queen Mary’s Kokoshnik tiara. My comment on your Royal News Network Channel about the Midnight Tiara is true, but it t is sooo hard to choose a favorite. But I do love the nature inspired tiaras, even if they can be less striking than the others I’ve mentioned. But I rediscovered the Midnight Tiara when I was searching for what I think is my ultimate favorite - The Ruby Parriere Tiara. I mentioned earlier than I love cabochon gemstones, and the way the rubies are staged as the “berries” against the delicate white gold leaves is so original - although at the same time it makes you wonder why all jewelers haven’t done that. But Brittany, you could ask me every day for the rest of my life and I’d probably name a different tiara each time. I never appreciated tiaras until I began watching your videos! ❤❤❤❤

I always wondered about the French Crown Jewels. I thought that many might have been melted down and the gems tossed into the Seine - because with the mobs everywhere during the revolution and all the chaos, seemed unlikely that anything survived. But of course, many people took their jewelry out before, during and after the Revolution.

💎 I don’t see that anyone else chose it but I really, really like the Pearl and diamond tiara shown here. It’s so delicate and detailed. It looks great far away but it has such exquisite detail, it just draws you in. You mentioned that it is silver and as you were getting close ups of that tiara, you were talking about the people who have the job of cleaning the pieces. How they clean that silver 😮 they must dip it in something. I also like the fife tiara- so grant and stunning. Am charmed by the (I think Swedish) cameo tiara. But vying for the top spot is the tiara princess wore at the coronation- Wow! I love that one! Funny how you/Brittney said it was disappointing. I love it, I think even more so that it is so perfect for Catherine’s face. I know the “diamonds” are really crystals- It’s still amazingly beautiful. I can’t tell they’re not diamonds 💎 by looking. I love the history behind the look of the Greek laurel wreaths. I have never seen Catherine look so beautiful and so regal. I know people like the Cambridge lovers knot tiara and I tried (it looked fabulous on Diana) and the history and connection with Diana and Catherine. Oh my gosh, I am so excited to check these out when I go to the Louvre in a couple of weeks!!! As for favorite tiaras, the Swedish Aquamarine will forever have my heart. Stunning!
